can I ask what date your birthday is ?

DH is the 14th and recall doing this last year, but he has nothing on his card,

I've just had a live chat with them, as I never got anything in September, but they say he wont get a birthday bonus till the 14th
I got 20% off for my birthday and it was the 3rd just added to card

    Good morning all

JTS glad you got some refief from the tens machine.

Gocat hope all is well and you get good feedback

Bubbs can’t be long to you get your MRI and they can start treating you for whatever is causing the pain

Nice to see some old faces popping by. Hope you all stay.

I must admit just now I am happy with my cash back etc and looking forward to the Amex small shop. There are a few new ones in my area, well my area has expanded as there are no time constraints now ie work

Can I add I am now perfectly content in being retired but hoping for a wee one day a week job early next year It may not happen as it’s linked to DS being self employed but if it does it will have been meant to be

I am going to visit the local care home today to find about volunteering. I may find it too emotional but we shall see

Take care and enjoy all this finding of new deals

I think we have managed to sort out our VM account ... it was due to be cut off tomorrow . I placed an order for anothr provider yesterday contacted another provider (TalkT - no up front fees ;)) which seems to have nudged them into action. I have ended up with £45 per month (plus £50 credit) plus retaining LRS, with 200mb internet, weekend calls/line and XL TV (Full House), so effectively it works out around £38 per month if I have done my sums correctly. This is not as cheap as some people achieved, and I think is the deal that we were offered the day after cancelling when we could have just accepted and avoided all this hoo-har :o. Time will tell if this has been applied correctly as I have received two emails from their system showing two different prices (the second double the first and cancelling my phone line ).

That's a fab offer, well done!
I only managed £73 a month with a £50 credit, for your package and anytime calls, which is extortionate.
Don't know how you do it.......

I wonder if they've updated their tills to accept more than one voucher of the same amount. In BM days you couldn't use 2 of the same value and the swipe/win points could only have one voucher of each value added at a time.

I think it's to prevent staff accidentally double scanning or customers deliberately scanning multiple times on SS

I'm working on Monday so i won't be the first tester. I'm sure you'll all have it figured out by the time i hit the shops.

I have no idea what i'm going to get yet but will probably cash out £300-£400 on something incase this is the last double up

I am going to cash out what I have I will get G kids clothes , some wine and hopefully a radio for DH Was looking at Nintendo switch but think there will be better deals about.

I have not been chasing points but done ok with the swipe and win

I had two of my chocolate orders cancelled this afternoon  If the order was cancelled straight away that would be understandable but they hang onto it for days and you have a dispatch date to go on the calender - 2 orders but the same Amazon seller.
so I went via chat to talk about the first order but he wasn't very helpful as it was an Amazon market place item.

Then I did another chat session to complain about the second order. This chap was very helpful. He said he would sort my problems out like Batman and he said I should call him Batman as his name was giving me issues :D
This chap was much more helpful and he issued me with £5 Amazon credit for the next time I order via Amazon :T

The Amazon pantry order has been but the van man just left me with this massive heavy box in the drive way - no help with dragging it around to the back door :(

I avoid ordering from 3rd party sellers on Amazon because they're usually small businesses and any returns/complaints have a negative impact on them. A product listing/quantity issue is a lot more straightforward to deal when it's sold and dispatched by Amazon.

What was in your Pantry box? :D

My pantry order was 36 cans of cat food, 2 lots of bleach and Mars bars and sours - so not a big order but very heavy - I had more promotional credit than I expected, no idea why but after a lot of order twiddling I got it down to £2.99 in real money.
I've left delivery feedback but I cant find a way to go through to chat

Wish I could find the glitches on the sold and dispatched items ... I am following the dark side now but things come and go in seconds. A few things I have found myself but so far I've not got anything to the dispatched stage.

A switch is an idea but i'd have to pay something towards it. Unless i double up for something else first and return that to a giftcard or sell on somewhere for cash

I'll go instore this weekend to put together a shopping list
