thanks for your advice over the weekend.

My last Amazon pantry order was a weird one and I ended up with one Ryvia in a box by itself - no postage added though. This box was very bashed so I went through chat and got that 99p refunded.

This weekend while we were away one of my Amazon orders arrived a week early so I went through chat and complained - having boxes arrive a week early and sat in the porch is a security issue. I was given a £5 credit.

Another order was cancelled altogether but I didn't get any compensation for this but the complaint was elevated to a higher level. I think I was supposed to get a response in 2 days so if I hear nothing tomorrow I will go via the chat page again.

What was the third thing ... ????
anyway I got a further £3 credit for something else so I should have had £8 credit
Instead I had £14.30 .... peculiar but very useful for tonights pantry order

wayward gs --you must remember him, he is still wayward grrrrr,, he had post, I left it on the kitchen table for him for when he emerged from his pit, the package was thin and the size of a cd...imagine how I laughed when I asked him if he opened his post and asked if it was what he was expecting...
He said 'well I wont be expecting now..its a condom!!'

Yes you can make moussaka with beef mince, not a lover of lamb so always substitute with beef. Or you could try this, I don't often bother with the crispy top.

Roast Aubergine Parmigiana

Tablespoon Oil
½ Onion
Can chopped tomatoes
Teaspoon vegetable stock
2 medium aubergines
Ball mozzarella, thinly sliced
25g breadcrumbs
25g parmesan (or vegetarian alternative), finely grated

Heat the oil in a pan. Soften the onion Add tomatoes and stock simmer for 5 minutes –.
Cut 6 slits down into the flesh of each aubergine crosswise, taking care not to cut all the way through. Season inside, then push a slice of the mozzarella into each gap.
Pour the tomato sauce into a large baking dish and sit the aubergines in it (or use 2 individual dishes).. Cover with foil and scrunch it tightly at the edges. Bake at 180oC for 50 mins-1 hr until soft.
Remove the foil. Mix the breadcrumbs and Parmesan, and. Bake, uncovered, for another 15 mins or until the aubergines are very tender and the crumbs are golden and crisp

Can I ask if anyone has a flat roof light? and what you think of them?
I am looking at them for the extension that we, (yep, me and DH) are currently building, so would live to hear views from anyone who has them.
What size have you got? is it electric opening? Do you find the sun an issue?...anything like that...many thanks
