Good morning, I think a better work/life balance would be we work Saturday and Sunday and have Monday to Friday off :rotfl:

Sounds ideal, but you forgot - & still get the same pay
  • Good afternoon......

I had a little shopping expedition today.....

Had to pop into M&S to get my free socks to the value of a tenner....Thats me sorted for Xmas...:rotfl:

Also had £7 to use in Debenhams......There was loads of mens clothing in the sales....... Sadly nothing for meeee.....But, I got a nice fleece to keep me warm during the winter....Most clothing is 20% off at the moment

Popped into Asda on the way home to use the last of my Wombles:( ..... The below were on reduced to clear....

    Frozen....ASDA Slimzone 6 Pork Sausages £2:50 down to £1:25
ASDA Slimzone 4 Quarter Pounder Beef Burgers £2:75 down to £1:30

Got a few to try......Might be in other stores....Worth a check around the freezer aisles if this takes your fancy.....

    Nothing else to report....Happy Days....:D

    Afternoon all
Quick 5 min catch up while I wait for dh to finish work.
Yes is chillier today and very wet again.
No we have bought a new van up the rd 😁
It's really lovely so pleased but as we were only sort of planning it we had not got anything sorted out so loads to do , hence not on here much at the moment, but we knew if we missed this would not be so lucky with the plot next time as it's a lovely corner plot with a nice garden.
Glad you are on the mend, take care x

Sounds great and you know the area well, so no unexpected surprises.

Is it less likely to flood? Are you planning to move over shut down?

Success in T today. I have mags and there were loads left too. Prestwich.

I saw the advert for the new Clubcard app which suggests that you can turn points into reward vouchers instantly so you don't have to plan ahead. Includes PizzaExpress and Cafe Rouge. Has anyone tried this please?

My niece does this, says it is virtually instant with the app.
