I've caught up and updated post 210 with new glitch details

Savvy - the N/A on Dove nourishing LIGHTENING was taken from someone's posted result

But which AB was it DD? Only Smooth & Sleek and Damage Repair work v M, Stunning Shine doesn't

Fwiw, I think only Smooth & Sleek and Damage & Repair should work against M as I don't have Stunning Shine. Not that I have many Ms with these products in at all:rotfl:. I think all of the four (conditioner of each and shampoo of each) worked last time - much better than those dodgy comps. against T, unless I am mistaken.

I don't see anything that says "Lightening" on a.com or msm unless you are confusing me with a single word:o. Perhaps there there is one or two in A with that name, which I don't know about as I have never caught up with the whole thread (days missing that I will, in all honestly, now never go back and read as things have moved on) and probably the whole point is that they aren't online yet so are no-shows and therefore no compare? I see Thickening online but it has nothing for T or M - is that one and the same I wonder? (I know I am coming across as completely clueless here. That's because I am!)

I have now almost updated the M list to Monday (yesterday!) - however I haven't quite crossed everything expired out, such as the Giant Pomegranate, as the APG won't - certainly not at the time of writing - be on Monday yet - so the old pricing (whatever they got or didn't get) may continue for tomorrow and maybe even sometime tomorrow (Wednesday) and be on the items that are, or are close to becoming, crossed out - the bold might not work yet if they weren't on offer last week (depends whether I/my stores missed them). I wouldn't be going for the Oral B 8 pack refills to try £32 against £15:rotfl:. They were a "Black Friday" item in M - I still have them, not many in stock for me now, and I have lost my offer label:eek: - they scanned at £15 so were still £15 in M yesterday.

If anyone spots a very significant range of items that may be of very good interest that aren't on the list, you are correct: I have put them aside to do as a special set of updating later today, as there are lots of versions of them and they all need carefully checking and making sure each one matches up to the same one in A. I am not going by descriptions on msm as necessarily being correct, as sometimes it can get information from grocery websites linked to different products wrongly depending on the wording, so I need to check which ones a.com actually has and exactly what items my SELs in M refer to. That long task, that happened last time these items were on good offer ages ago - but ranges at A and M could have changed since - will be done later today.

I have another range of items separately to add as well, but the second set I think not of much interest. Neither set of items are APG items at present if the system is not updated anyway, so I will keep you all in suspense and reveal details later! May be good, may be going nowhere, we shall see:rotfl:.

    For now, see you later:wave:.

    1x Lees' Snowballs (14pk) £1.35 £1.00
    1x Lees' Jam Teacakes (14pk) £1.35 £1.00

That's one of the items that (I believe) has ended in M - now gone to full price on all my SELs so well done on that if that was a womble:T. They were one of the few changed items my first store was clear about:rotfl::(. If we see that change to M full price from a new receipt, we know we are no longer on last Wednesday. Again, well done for sneaking them in:T:T:D:j:rotfl:.

I say that - it looks a good comp., but it could be a few items extracted from a longer receipt where they bought many more that lost out:(. Hope it worked - if not, it was simply A at full price on that item (and also on the Lees products that should continue, or maybe it is A on a more expensive regular price on those than elsewhere).

Just loking at T&Cs on CPW and they are contradictory (I know, read before you buy!). On the A3 page in the box below the picture, click on the i and it says:

    2. Once you receive your new phone, start your claim by registering your details with Alcatel here http://www.alcateloffers.com/Aseries-tradein including your IMEI number and proof of purchase within 30 days of the date of purchase. The final date in which a claim can be submitted is 23:59 on 29th January 2018.

Scroll down and click on the link to fill T&Cs and it takes you to:
    https://www.carphonewarehouse.com/terms-and-conditions/alcatel-trade-in-offer.html

    Under 6 it says:

    6. To participate in the Promotion and claim the Reward, visit www.alcateloffers.com/Aseries-tradein complete the online claim form, enter IMEI number and submit a copy of your proof of purchase in the form of a receipt or invoice (the 'Claim') after 30 days from the date of purchase as indicated on the receipt or invoice. The date of purchase counts as day one of the claiming window. The final date in which a claim can be submitted is 23:59 on 29th January 2018. Claims submitted outside the claim window will be rejected.

So is it within 30 days or after? It cannot be both!

I think they mean "within" but someone hasn't proofread it properly. Is there anywhere where it says, if there is a conflict between sets of terms, which set is to prevail? Otherwise, as consumers, we are entitled to the most favourable interpretation to us, which would be the "after", although that's theory.

In practice, you are going to submit the claim within 30 days of purchase anyway (there's also another ambiguity there isn't there - about the word "from" under point 6? That single word often gives rise to disputes over interpretation). In any event, people will submit within 30 days, which doesn't seem extremely onerous, why create issues and potentials for disputes, unless you like complaining and having a fight about what the legal meaning is and which terms are to prevail, when it is simply resolved by complying with the within 30 days - although, strictly speaking, if there's an ambiguity, technically, in theory, depending on whether this is a legal contract term (and it might not be), you might, in a court of law, be able to raise the argument that the most favourable interpretation to yourself applies. Or you could stir things up by asking the Competition & Markets Authority for its view:rotfl:. In theory, if there is an unfair contract term - and in assessing that it is to take the least favourable interpretation to ourselves as if the supplier was relying on that - it could (unless I am out of date) seek an injunction to prevent the use of an unfair term. I do not say it is an unfair term - it might not be. I do not give legal advice. In practice, it might contact the supplier and they'll just amend the material to what they probably meant to say. I doubt it was anything deliberate, just someone probably not reading what was written. No-one reads these things anyway - well done, you are properly the only person to read it and spot it!

    Good morning.

Did everyone else get a N3ctar reward for taking part in the double up? I recall someone mentioned getting 1000 points, but neither I nor Mrs Anon did. I appreciate there is still plenty of time.

    Many thanks
