Another Froctober failure for me......but.....I found more pork:D
There were 2 huge bits on the butchers counter and I commented that the last piece I had was very fatty.
"The fat is the best bit" the sa said.
Yes but this was unbelievably fatty. I told her I weighed it and it was over one third fat.
"But the fat is the best bit" she said again.
Do you know when you feel you are not being listened to:rotfl:
So while I was in T I spotted a stall promoting pickling vinegar and I think this might change my life:T:T
Pickled vegetables in 15 minutes:T:T
350ml for £1:)
I can't tell you how many times I need picked onions or beetroot or whatever, as I'm too disorganised to do them the night before.:T:T
And I got my free vanilla with my coupon:T:TTo do is to be. Rousseau

But on a positive note my Froctober marches onwards.....
No Friday takeaways for us:D
2 potatoes, a big onion, some swede, 2 carrots and a Lidl pack of streaky bacon left over off the weekend
All ready for the oven
Took 10minutes to make and it'll be lush:DTo do is to be. Rousseau

£1.90.
That is how much my Gweggs latte cost as the stupid app wouldn't work, then when it did eventually work (with a queue behind me) it said I had already redeemed it when I most definitely had not .

I have 3 handsets and always make sure registered/screenshot the codes at home first (with 3 different sims), making sure all codes have different numbers.
I’ve been caught out before by it un-registering me and I didn’t realise until in the queue.I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -

Well, that was the quickest trip - only had to get 30 min parking as no car park wandering required, it felt strange walking past trolleys with receipts left in :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Milk, bread, couple of whoopsied items - job done
Might still be worth wombling in case any cash back items on receipts.I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -

I also screenshot multiple codes incase the app kicks me out. I think that trick would work for just about all wuntu retailers (except pat val)
Just as well because the missus had been logged out and text me in a flap from the queue today!Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »I know. It's just that other people will understand (or misunderstand) it differently. Actually, it could be seen as not being any misinterpretation, because the interpretation they have is a reasonable one to take from the way most people behave. It's just that we can't see how others might interpret, or misinterpret, things and it may be said they misinterpret because they assume we don't have autism. That, after all, is how most people are and they are not to know as - put simply, I think this isn't totally accurate - it is an invisible disability.
I don't know what people believe. I just hear what they claim to believe and have no idea of whether or not they actually do, as people very often don't verbalise what they really do think and I don't have access to the contents of people's minds to determine if what they say they beleive actually is what they believe. Or maybe they haven't thought it through thoroughly and their "belief" is a half-complete one that has yet to be formed and therefore, IMO, would not really amount to a belief.
It's all about misinterpretion as people misinterpret almost everything.0 -
