Good morning all, cloudy but mild here.
As for the APG, I rarely used it due to the 4 mile bike ride each way, my knees are not what they used to be, but I did get the odd womble.
I look forward to different ways of saving money.
Nothing on the Q game, apart from draws which are irrelevant to me anyway. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Good morning all
Thanks again Di I have ordered white this time This is DH's Christmas budget same as the chocolates yesterday Normally around £200 but will be higher this year He does not advertise his work but gives a bottle/ sweets to bigger customers and silly sized hampers to some suppliers All are gifted with his business card
One year the suppliers got a lot of the almost free cobra, plus sweets, biscuits, pot noodles , cuppa soups etc These were all good glitches and standards now have to be maintained :rotfl:
My first gliche was Jaffa cakes Some worked but the second shop did not as it had been fixed but it was a learning curve
I will add my thanks to izzeyb and the other N1LDA plus all the other checkers and posters and recall the good times with Flo Flo and SFSB plus others I was thinking of Squiggs? when I was looking at a break in Lytham St Annes
I am sure I saw SFSB when I was on my cruise. It is hard to unimagine his avatar0 -

I am also thinking that as we are in this lull and also trying to avoid leaving the house and spending then a revival of the fabulous list of apps from a previous month might be worth a visit. Did anyone save this list for future reference?
And a rummage though the loyalty cards in our wallets to make sure all of our details are up to date
Boots advantage card - have you registered your upcoming babies? I think you get offers in the months leading up to and for about 6 months after the baby is born
Morrison's - are you part of the baby club?
Waitrose - have we ticked all of the correct boxes on our accounts
Holland and Barret - new loyalty cards get bonus points
Nationwide have simply offers, First Direct also have a visa offers, Halifax have a rewards page and at least another of the bank does similar - have we activated the offers recently
Quidco - the High Street offers need reactivating every 28 days and have we checked to see all of our current debit/credit cards are listed.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
