1x ASDA Farm Stores White Potatoes (2.5kg) £1.30 £1.09
Avs M in twos - vs any 2 for £2.00.
Not Northern Ireland.
With Home Bargains' JMB 2Kg potatoes recently rising from 59p to 69p, I wondered which way I should go. They probably raised that to match the otherwise nom-whoopsied 'cheapest' in the market - I went to Heron Foods and found some Ibbotson 2Kg potatoes at 69p. I then thought I should now buy from Heron Foods in future, so as not to reward Home Bargains for its price increase. However, I found a couple of decent bags of Wonky Potatoes on their last date in M at 70p each - 2.5Kg bags so they worked out cheaper. Obviously better than 69p for 2Kg. Regular price on those is 87p however, which works out at 0.6p more expensive for 2Kg - in other words around same price as elsewhere as usual:wall:. My whoopsied M bags (store specific and just happened to visit a right place at the right time when I needed some) were Maris Piper:D. One of them still is:rotfl: - unfortunately we have just used up the other tonight.0 -
fuzzgub : I make my quiche
Scallop boiled potatoes
Mixed veg
Tub cottage cheese
3 eggs
Oven 200 degrees
I cook veg and potatoes before hand so I know they cooked lol.
Get dish and lay a layer scalloped potatoes then veg over top then another layer scalloped potatoes.
Whisk eggs then add cottage cheese and stir then pour over potatoes and veg
Bung in oven for 30 minutes
I normally eat mine with baked beans
Thank you sounds yumm, I will give it a tryI Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -

Yeah I know Zippy, sadly I can't go until after work as there isn't an Asda near my office. I had better luck in the Co op which is 3 minute walk from my house, 2p mascarpone, 15p peaches etc.0

M are changing the points per giftcard from 25 to 5 per £1 from 15/10:
https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2018/09/morrisons-customers-to-get-less-loyalty-points-when-buying-gift-/?_ga=2.145499837.862954471.1537900131-2077695305.1537900131
Another change for the worst as customers have apparently asked they focus on lowering prices ...
There is a pattern here and they appear to be colluding!

It was also vs T at 20p recently, but I don't know whether that still works? I can't see it on t.com today and msm now says "---" for T. I don't know when it dropped off t.com, if it did, or whether the APG might still be picking up T in the background. Msm has long said "---" for M, but don't worry about that - still seeing 20p instore as of yesterday.
The label said 38p last night, though it looks like it was in the wrong place.
They are likely putting up their prices so that they can comply with the regulations on promotions when they bring them down again to claim savings.

Good evening all
Had a quick skim and see that I am missing a glitche. Oh well can’t be helped
Two weeks sailing in the sun.Lovely weather and we met a good selection of people. House was really cold but heating up nicely now.
My head is not in thinking mode so will need to wait until tomorrow before i post properly
If someone could remind me of the better insurance companies for disabilities I would be grateful.
Hugs to those that need them and belated birthday wishes to those who celebrated while I was away0 -
got 12 boxes of bakes after work at 4.30pm got £17 odd return for that shop.
just reinvested in another 12 boxes (different store) and got walkers crisps with them with the invisible trigger. so the crisps should add another £1.20 to the apg. hope ive worked it out properly. so should be an apg of £19.70 ish0
