Hello everyone. More bad news.
Went to Waitrose to use £4 off £20 coupons. Went through with magazines, paper, coffee plus shopping but coupon would not work. Was advised by cashier that the magazines and coffee no longer count towards your shopping bill total. I checked my shopping and with the D Mail it came to £19.80, so it looks like she was correct.
Not sure if it's all shops but didn't want anyone else to possibly lose out.
Worked for me yesterday.Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

What a disaster!!!
went to T for c+c, I ordered 7 x £3.20 joints
sa said 1 sub - a large joint for the same price as the small, ok says I:D
she then asks me to sign for my groceries, but where are the other 6 joints?
looking thru the receipt I hadn't been charged for the other joints, but I had been charged full price £4 a kilo...
so I then rejected that and shes going to give me a refund for my c+c charge
go in shop not one joint of pork on butchers section or shrink wrapped on fixtures:eek::eek:
so im porkless:(0 -
From recommendations on this thread, I went with Beko. Cheapest price was from Currys and went through quidco for 1% cashback (though still not tracked). Also Currys have a cheap old freezer removal if you need that. I didn't pay for installation/ unpacking as their website says they don't install in a garage or shed, but the delivery guys were helpful.
Typical! They have an offer on this weekend on QC for £10 bonus on £50 spend - it seems whenever one of us has an unexpected big spend a bonus appears a day or so later.

I didn't actually do the transaction. I have now been told that they didn't actually see the cashier try scan the coupon, as they were busy packing, so I expect that they didn't even try . Typical, first time I didn't do it myself grrrrrr. Oh well at least it still works.0 -

Hello everyone.
Re Waitrose - ignore magazines/coffee not working. I sent a novice through the till unfortunately. More training required or punishment, not decided yet
