Good morning everyone.
A lady at my sons school, takes her daughter out of school every year, and as far as I know has never been asked to pay this charge, I have asked her, she said she has never paid it.0 -
Litre Jack Daniels on offer in Tesco £20 until 1st October.
Anyone wanting one (or more) for Christmas, would be worth it on APG as currently £32.50 in Asda
I have tried a few times for this online. Has been oos for about 10 days in my a. Just had another delivery and it was subbed for Jim Bean. Got sent back.
I have only just found this out.
:o I amended an order at the beginning of the week and when I checked out, it popped up that JD was oos. When my order was delivered, there was no mention or sub in the delivery but when I checked the apg, the result was based on my original order plus the amendment.
So a couple of apg's that I will have to wait till October to claim. 0 -
Good morning all, a bit grey here, hope it doesn't rain too hard as we have a lot of outside work on.TrulyMadly wrote: »I wouldn't know where to start.....except I would probably go for the John Lewis option. Yes, you're right there, although I would have a reasonable idea as I have sewed with so many fabrics that I think I have used most of them  When I was younger it was the only way I could get a dress to fit me, size 14 at the top and size 8 at the bottom :eek: I have evened up a bit now thank God :rotfl::rotfl:
I miss our decent haberdashers
I have searched so many places, charity shops, designer exchanges, normal shops, even M&S, but I can't find anything, the only ones I have found and like have been strapless or spaghetti straps and I cannot guarantee finding a matching top, really do not want to do uncovered shoulders
The pattern I have found covers the shoulders and has a matching bolero, so covers most of the weather possibilities for April :rotfl::rotfl:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

It seems some schools don't enforce it with the penalty, others are really strict. You need to double check your school/council approach to see how/whether they enforce the policy and if there is any circumstances where they don't charge. But if the penalty is issued, it can lead to prosecution if unpaid.
I know some parents who have paid the charge (grudgingly!) as it still worked out significantly cheaper for the holiday overall. The charge is £60 per parent per child per absence (not per day). It is schools that decide how they implement - but implementing law from 2013.
In summary, check with your school before you make plans.

Asda APG system not working - update
I spoke to Asda this morning. They are aware of an issue with the APG system not counting the number of different items correctly and they are working on a solution - timescale not known.
At least they are looking for a solution!

Good morning all!
With the Quorn, the offer is still showing for me on the Asda website :-/. Normally when an offer's ending and I click on the '3 for 2' (for example) then it comes up saying sorry no items available. So I'll be interested to see if it works! I don't have any freezer space anyway :-(.0 -
