Afternoon all! I am playing catch up here again after spending a week of annual leave trying to sort out my house and make it more winter ready. I'm aching in muscles I didn't know I had! :rotfl::eek::o

Any idea how I get hold of Malc from Eon? I'm moving to Eon in the next few days but having some issues with providing my initial meter readings (it only accepted gas reading but said I'd already done the electric reading??)

Wondered whether I just have to say his name three times (Malc from Eon, Malc from Eon, Malc from Eon) or offer :coffee: and :bdaycake:?

We've officially booked to go to Edinburgh, can't wait! It's our anniversary on Friday though so I'd love to find somewhere special to go for a meal (ideally MSE too but I think that may be asking too much :rotfl:) May be too late notice now though.

Off to read back, catch you all later :D

Thanks for all the advice guys.

Hi, is that the top line or MAX, as I said it can be just as damaging to add too much oil:o

Hope your daughter and her baby are ok Di. My hubby fell a couple of weeks ago four foot down into next doors and landed on his head . His leg gave way and he just toppled over. He was lucky . Had to go for a head scan but was ok . Big lump and cuts and bruises.

Oh dear I hope he's ok.

Her scan is at 2pm. Shes got a bit of a shiner and a cut on her head where a piece of broken plate stuck in her head
Tbh I'm disgusted in her boss. He is a nice lad and usually very caring but she said she was sat on the floor for half an hour and he never came near her, a customer who was a nurse sat with her until the ambulance came. One of the chefs came out to the ambulance with her, gave her a hug etc, the boss never said a word apart from the things you'll do to get out of working
Anyway when she got home last night she text the two girls who had sat with her plus her boss. The two girls text straight back, she still hasn't heard fro Her boss  I'm shocked, how awful is that.

Morning everyone, bubbs I have an ipad 3 and am finding some apps now don't work very well on it - some not at all because Apple are no longer updating the system that runs on them.
I think they described mine as vintage.
Maybe get some advice from other users.

Meant good afternoon really. Hardly know what day it is never mind time of day!!

    Good afternoon all.

Di, hope your daughter is ok. How rude of the boss.

It depends on the price of course and what you want to use it for - games such as candycrush and scrabble work fine, but Toscos new site does not work well, nor does Waities. They will work eventually but you have to be very patient. Some apps simply wont download as not compatible with the running system. If it is cheap enough give it a go. Not sure what is considered cheap though, mine was £300 about 3/4 years ago and second hand so not sure of actual age. Look on ebay and see the going prices for them.
