Baffled by the rush for everyone wanting to suddenly print off all of their APGs?

Asda have told us officially you have until 03/10 to check giving an expiry of 31/10 officially. Unofficially that could be 31/12 if they don't change the current system.

Secondly, why are you still printing them ? If you're using self-scan you haven't needed to since the manual check stopped and they stopped the requirement to deposit them, nearly 2 years ? now. You only need it on your phone.

Now I know the odd few dozen here like a good conspiracy theory, but please, suggesting it's been taken out of action purposely or permanently is going a little too far. Patience doesn't seem to be a virtue of many here ;)

Why am I still printing them?

    I haven't even got a mobile:rotfl:

White Toblerones in Tesco £1.50 (had £1.50 SEL)

    360g size, dated 25.07.2019.

Only one in box, then remembered to look up ;)

I believe toberlones are being reduced to 300g size, so maybe worth keeping eyes peeled in more than Tesco

    .

Oh wish I could find these:o

I have a Hostess, but not a trolley, one that stands on the sideboard. Always very useful when the kids are around. It was a wedding present, so had it a while :eek:

I have an Actifry (well, T's wouldn't let me have DTD on the airfryer by Philips so the Actifry it had to be, especially as they paid me to take it away) and it makes the best roast spuds I have ever tasted!

Have been wondering about an instant pot, but have run out of space to store things in the kitchen!

I love my acifry and use it every week. makes yummy chips. I also love my electric pressure cooker. Make all my soups, curries, chillies, etc in it.

Yesterday I bought an electric can opener. Not sure how good it will be, but I have arthritis in my thumbs so thought I would give it a try. It was reduced to £4 in A & paid with APGs so thought it was worth a try.

What is an instant pot please?

You will love your tin opener I have had one for years for similar reasons

I don't know what on instant pot is either:rotfl:

I got an electric can opener when I had a hysterectomy and couldn't use a manual one. I love it and wouldn't be without it now.

I've not tried roast spuds in my air fryer but it sounds as if I should – I don't have the room for an Actifry.

The Instant Pot is an electric pressure cooker and a slow cooker which can also saute and a steamer and cooks porridge and rice (I've not tried it for those) and also makes yoghurt, which I use it for a lot. They don't advertise but rely on word of mouth. I discovered it when I was hunting recipes online, for marmalade I think. It is truly amazing. I resisted buying one until I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic and needed to keep an eye on how much sugar I was eating, especially as I didn't think I had very much. One of the resolutions was to make my own yoghurt and CostCo had the Instant Pot on offer at the time, so I got one and haven't looked back since.

I loved all the funny posts about it!
