I am back and had a jacket sweet potato with egg mayo for dinner :)

    UPDATE : On Mum .

Wednesday gets phone call early evening she fell again but wasn't hurt and mum had promised them she wouldn't walk on her own again. So i ring her after ages she answers she on her way to toilet. Without help :(

I go visiting Thursday after work mum wandering about no help :(

Go today she wandering in her room :(

So is mum listening NO. I give up will just wait for phone call telling me she fell and done herself injury .

Mum incontinent both ends (sorry if you are eating)

Seeing white worms and spiders on carpet . Nothing there this started this week grr. Wonder if its because I not visiting now back in work I went Thursday , Today and will go tomorrow so 3 times a week.

Mum also reading things that not there eg. She got bank statement and have taken 2 lots rent out for flat. Me rent DD shut they cant have. Mum they have I not going mad . Me show me bank statement please ? Get statement and scan it no rent taken out. Me show me she gets her air off and says tweets are you blind. Me yes :D

After ages mum looking at bank statement I ask her to show me and she says its gone but was definitely there ;).

Also she got it in her head folk are going in her room when she asleep moving things and taking things they not.

She never knows what day it is and forgets things so could have Dementia early stages.

    UPDATE : On bro partner.

She going for radio and chemo everyday.

Told bro its grade 3.5 so that's not good :(

UPDATE : Om me , our Poppy and DS :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    We are all ok :T:T:T

    Afternoon all!

Today marks the start of two weeks of annual leave :j I'm looking forward to a combination of relaxing, getting some jobs done so the house is more winter-ready and hopefully a few days out or away somewhere. After the year we've had, it's definitely needed :o

On that note - if anyone has any recommendations for things to do in Edinburgh or day trips to do whilst there, please let me know as we're thinking about going there for a few nights for our anniversary next week :T

Sorry to hear about your mum, tweets, but dementia may well explain some of the things she's doing, including trying to walk unaided as she may not remember that she shouldn't. The seeing things in her room and suspecting people of doing things is exactly what my grandma was doing (she thought the nurses were secretly trying to get her :()

Having said that, some of her worst symptoms were actually due to an untreated UTI, which is incredibly common in older ladies unfortunately and easily overlooked if dementia is suspected, so it might be worth your mum getting that checked, particularly if she is already having trouble in that area and she's sitting down a lot.

OMG, I probably do act like an ancient crone sometimes but that is my OHs fault - his bad influence.
If I was over 65 now I would be getting a state pension now and enjoying nearly £165 per week which I've paid for through years of NI contributions - I am not and wont be until I am really really decrepit and haggard - in the meantime I am being swindled out of nearly £165 a week and a bus pass - fuming mad :mad:

Now you have got me started onto a rant about state pensions again ....:rotfl:

Same situation as me, we must be of a like age. I feel robbed. (actually we have been)

Is the "free" dashcam from MyM4il worth the 1500 N3ctar points?

Only 10k available ... I have ordered one anyway as I have "a few" N3ctar as you know :D.

How is something free if you are paying with N3ctar points ...

I got one the last time they had the offer but think it's a different model. It isn't particularly good, it doesn't offer a wide enough angle.

Enterprise, did you get any joy with those headphones? DH has the generation one version and they are amazing (though for that price, they should be!). When he lost them on holiday and I looked at getting replacements, I found them at Peter Tyson and got John Lewis to price match. Although, when the originals were found and returned, I then returned the new ones and JL lost the tracking details, so it took dozens of phone calls to get them to approve my refund! I haven't shopped there since!

Can't remember what price you found but if I were getting them again, I wouldn't bother with the price match https://petertyson.co.uk/boser-quietcomfortr-35-mk-ii-wireless-headphones

Just as an aside, I looked at the new generation two at the time and reviews suggested very very little difference to generation one, so that would be the cheapest option, but I know what blokes can be like about their gadgets :rotfl:

I got through yesterday by going through any selection. They want you to give your receipt details and they will post a gift card off for the amount.

Just been reading the MSE article on the demise of APG and in the comments a guy has posted this few times about the printing problems, has anyone tried.

"I had that problem yesterday but I managed to get it to work a different way. On the main screen where you input your receipt details, enter your email address and password as if you are going to check an online shop. You will see an error message saying that you don't have any online shops to check. Clear that message and then enter your receipt details on the left of the screen. You are now signed in and should be able to print your voucher without receiving the error message saying elves are looking into the technical problem."

cant log in doing it this way either. think we should all ring them up to tell them the wizards are useless
anyone managing to log in at the moment

    im calling now
they aint answering as very busy

That was close to the price I found, pretty sure DD has ordered them now, which reminds me I really must sort out our birthdat present for him.

He is a PITA when it comes to brands, he had a different phone time before last but soon traded it in for another Apple :mad: I have to admit I just don't get it, a phone is a phone, as for the headphones I suggested DD got him the first version but he would not be heppy. The silly thing is these will be out pf date soon too !
