Good morning (late morning)! I'm currently indoors so wondering whether it is raining outside and I see that it is but, oh look - https://www.netweather.tv/live-weather/radar - there is currently an island of dry weather covering parts of Sheffield and Derbyshire, including Bakewell, Chesterfield, Matlock and Clay Cross, and part of Nottingham also isn't raining, and another island in part of Peterborough and west of Peterborough, although in parts of that it has just started raining and the shape of the island has changed. If only the rain kept in the same place all day, the island could have been dry all day:rotfl:.

apparently its also sunny in the Forest of Dean now as well.

Cheshire is raining but that's not exactly news ...

I think that may have been our 4 deal this weekend but all main signage is for next week so shoppers may well miss the small supply of stock they had

    Thanks anyway
  • went in search of the £1 chimnea in BM but theyd finally sold the 3 theyve had hanging about. I did however pick up kids play sand £1 for 15kg, £3 ronseal fence care (they have a brand i didnt know and doesnt look waterproof for £1 or £2 i forget) and those wooden lawn trims 1m long for 50p each, no price on but was outside so my phone worked and barcoded it, then phoned OH to go measure whilst i was there lol

used up my tesco 10p off a litre yesterday and got the free ribena from the game.

Hope everyones ok, not around much due to being back at work. xxx

I am rather inclined to agree with this, I can see no benefit to Asda if they fix it.

No but it's not on is it mind you that's typical Asda . I tried phoning but no option suitable

I've just had a buyer asking where is the item. I posted it without tracking. I suspect they are trying for a freebie. £15.

Out of interest, what are you going to Do?
    I always send signed for.

If it has gone with royal mail everything has a 2D tracking symbol that is scanned at doorstop. You might try to give the delivery office that would have delivered the parcel to see if there is record of something being scanned at that address.

That's interesting, so is signed for delivery not necessary?

Anyone bought a defibrillator before. Im thinking of starting to raise money for one to go on the wall of my local. BHF dont seem to sell them for commercial premises, anyone else done something similar?

The grumpy one and the old codgers (think last of the summer wine, but Geordies!) go to the micro pub in the next village each week. I'm, no, not Nora Batty, their taxi driver. This week when I picked them up they all had various leaflets and had had a training session in said little pub on how to use the defibrillator that had recently been installed outside.

Our 'Foggy' is going to investigate how we get one here so if I find out I'll let you know.
