In July they had food and drink. Be careful as this month's food is a double cover - Food and something else on the back, but the same magazine and barcode so one would be free and the other £2 if you picked it twice. Displayed showing both sides in mine and nearly caught me out!

Well if you go again have a look in the seasonal aisle if any tins (not tubs) of Quality Street have surfaced. Remember they were reduced to £1.25 ... you never know could be worth a scan

I have been looking but not seen any yet, only tubs

Teeny loves penquins too. I just got carried away with all that beer :o

Looks like 50p penquin is in other stores by updates on HUKD.

I'm too tired to go out again now, once upon a time it would have been a road trip...

Always worth a scan. Remember the big Milk Tray boxes couple of years back when they re-appeared for Xmas and were scanning at 1p, and also one of the Thorntons boxes.

Oh and the fruit and nut toblerone, but that didnt go very cheap.

Seems so long ago now that we had 1p chocolate. I am sure we have probably been missing a trick or two in Ts with the focus on APG.

If I remember rightly those things were price corrected pretty quickly after they had reappeared at the last seasons prices.

Same here TS, once I would have been straight out of the door down the M60 to Tesco Irlam for the loo rolls Anon posted and done a couple of other extras on the way back. Definitely lost my 'get up and go'
