Don't know how you got away with it!
Always a data issue with mine.
I've been trying to do this for ages, to be fair to them they have been in agreement that it is about time (they are 24 and 28), but EE require that we are all in the same place at the same time, which is rare. I have been refusing upgrades for them, so their phones are nearly 4 years old.
Good afternoon, my dd had a contract in my name and only last year changed it to her name only thing was she was already talking to them about an upgrade so was passing herself of as me so when they said they needed her to agree to change account to her name I had to pretend to be her:rotfl:, by the end of the conversation it was confusing, lucky we sound so similar on the phone, even family can't tell us apart.:)The person who never makes a mistake never learns anything.0 -

Ordered a seed catcher from China, it has arrived but is a lot smaller than I ordered. First off they offered me $1 refund, then have said meet half way to avoid paying postage etc. Am I right in saying that if I do a SNAD on paypal they will be forced to pay postage please?. It is next to useless to me and would quite happily return it so definitely not an empty threat, just want to check before I tell them that is what I will do.
It is only a bit over £3 but it is the principal, if they have sent the wrong size to me then how many other people are they doing it to?
It's been my experience if it's a snad then ebay will provide a returns label and I believe charge them, you should not be out of pocket .:)The person who never makes a mistake never learns anything.0 -
Morning, unsure if this is 7 day deal in Iceland or just a good price, thanks to Hotukdeals.
Nestle Shreddies 675g box less than half price, £1.34.
Linda McCartneys vege burgers £1.00
https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/groceries.iceland.co.uk
.
Are they not a downsized box? Fairly standard near £1.49 equivalent price for 750g. £1.34 looks better but it's not really (except by about 0.1p:rotfl:) as the weight is now 675g so it translates to regular offer price, nothing special unfortunately in my view. It's around the same (give a small fraction of a penny) as standard £1 for 500g but sub-£1s are available on non-branded cereal. Malted Wheaties at Aldi, assuming weight has remained at is the same as before, would be cheaper - weight at Lidl has long made Lidl's version slightly worse. Best way to go is more probably if people find from time to time slightly damaged boxes on reduction of any kind of cereal and doesn't have to be Shreddies-type cereal or frosted cereal packed with sugar.
EDIT: See what I did there? Edited to add the words "or frosted cereal" - made myself ambiguous as to whether I am saying Shreddies (or "Shreddies-type cereal") is packed with sugar. Not the best way to go, IMO, on some of these products if they are - I have actually limited, or even no longer bought at all(:money::rotfl:), purchases of frosted cereal in recent years as, while that may indeed be the point of it being "frosted" cereal, I see no point buying unhealthy stuff packed with sugar - would rather just have plain wheat cereal or something else that isn't frosted.0 -

Have you noticed a north/south divide thing with these comparisons before Savvy, like AUU mentions. Dont mind giving it a try. Think I worked them out to be 27p a roll with a £8 vs £7.50 comparison, so thats not too shabby really.
As far as I know I expect it's the same comp. all over? Was the original womble north (or south) of the border?
The different comparisons have sometimes been vs T. Don't know how that translates into instore prices taken from M beyond alcohol.
The alternative left now - it's not as good - is whether SP 6 pack toilet rolls pick up £1 vs £1 price for M (however, M appears brand new on its equivalent so may not work yet). Still not as good as £1 toilet roll from T with 50p CB of a while ago. If the SP 6 pack does not compare yet, it's onto 18 pack Savers in M at £2.90:eek: (I obtained 6 rolls fewer:( compared to the £3.30 comparison on the 24 pack that looks like missed now.) I'm just looking at cheapest bog standard bog roll prices from supermarkets, regardless of perceived quality - maybe some cash and carry places cheaper?
I suppose there may be different updating times for the M data, which may be out of sync for a temporary period, but I suspect Scotland would have fallen in line by now. (In other words I would think it would already now be on Wednesday like south of the border.) Alternatively, it could be that Scotland was always on £7.50 and never had £3.30 - if there was different data, there's this possibility that can't be ruled out either.
If you think £7.50 comp. is alright, even though £3.30 is obviously way better, there's no harm trying, in the hope that you might get an unexpected bonus of £3.30 coming back.0 -

If you wanted to achieve this while not in the same place, and contracts are in your name, just arrange PAC codes to port the number (could be to a PAYG sim, rather than a new contract immediately) which will close the account when used, they can then either transfer the number to their new contract or out to PAYG and back if that is their preference. Obviously depends on whether it is a great deal - most can be beaten by shopping around/cashback etc.

The sales assistant was surprised I hadn't already changed the bank account details to their accounts - definitely missed a trick there!
Your plan would still have had the problem that I would have needed to get new SIMs to them.
