Don't know if she is settling in new home or not but no way could she have gone home not well enough to live on her own without help

Hilly, lots of grans are too busy with their own lives to be dedicated and enjoy their grandchildren. It is lovely to read your story/relationship. I am hoping that when my kids ever have kids I am able to be hands on. I've informed DS1 who lives in Singapore now that I am having any children for the long summer holidays in the Uk, and I will go to stay with them for a month to ensure the kids have a relationship with granny. DS2 and DS3 are all talking about moving abroad with work.... it could get very difficult!
