Morning all!
Sorry to hear your news TM, thinking of you and yours.
A little bit white here but noticeably chilly even indoors! I treated us and put the fire on to warm things up a bit.
I'm feeling grateful today for everything I have. It's a lovely bright winters morning, I have a wonderful husband and family, it's getting closer to Christmas, which I love, and I don't really need to buy anything new, (other than an upstairs loo!).
This time last year was very different, after doing a horrible job for 3 months which made me incredibly depressed and then having to job hunt in an uncertain market for another 2 months, I'm feeling very appreciative for how much better things are, 12 months on. I'm also very grateful for the Elite family, as the glitches and bargains kept my cupboards and fridge full and kept my spirits up through a dark time in my life. So thank you, one and all!:T:beer:

Good morning, loads of catching up to do but I just wondered can I mix the fusion razor blades in with a Muller shop?0

Quick google and I found this

Might be worth asking for a reprint today if you go to the same A's and paid by card. Perhaps print out or screen shot that link to show them
Good luck
Morning all :hello:

We have had our Tefal Avanti toaster for many years, never had a toaster last for so long. I have three spares in the wardrobe, including my Smeg toaster and kettle set. I want to bring those out but OH would kill me if the toaster we currently have was still working when I did that. It is easy to store a used kettle, not so easy with a toaster
So, if anyone wants a long lasting toaster, go for a Tefal!!
I think I might have mentioned on the old thread that someone I know bought a couple of kettles at the same time, they used one for years then when it finally failed they got the other one out, but it had died in storage, the button had seized up and wouldn't press to turn it on.
It occurs to me now that the 'spare' (new in box) may well have been faulty to begin with.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

It may well have been. Most of the spares I have are ones I got for free anyway, either T or Achica, apart from a toaster I bought in Comet as we did not have a spare, and the Smeg ones I got for free too, so wouldn't hurt too much. And they are kept in the wardrobe so not anywhere cold like the garage or loft, wouldn't store electricals where they could get very cold, could harm the circuit boards. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

We have had a little flurry of snow in North Wales.
We have sleet in Cheshire“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

We were very greatful to have a spare microwave when we came back from hols a couple of Januarys ago to find a dead microwave - I have no idea when we got the spare from Sainsbury's but it must have been an irrestibke sale item, oddly it pre dated the new full hight fridge and freezer but it matched them perfectly
Now we just have a couple of spare fancy lidel kettles, a slow cooker bought with coupons in the dying days of MOCs, a spare liquidiser and mixer.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Morning all. After spending all day in a&e a bed was finally found for MIL last night. She was supposed to have surgery yesterday evening but this has now been postponed until sometime today. It’s unlikely she will be able to attend FIL’s funeral0
