Popped into Asda this morning to get something and as I was passing the card section, there were 2 woman that fill them up, scanning and taking cards out of wrapping and ripping them up. I did ask why they didnt just give them away at the door, said not allowed, I thought what a waste, they still come in handy and are useful to people.

They could very easily have either taken them to a charity shop or even donated them to the food bank - our local ones deals not only with food crisis but other social needs as well

it looks like from the 14th august the caffe nero will be a tuesday or a wednesday

I know, I did tell them that I thought it was disgusting and wrong what they were doing, she just looked at me as if I had two heads :mad:

Hope they change it to earlier than midday (doubt it though).

No use to me yet as I still haven’t got round to getting a sim with credit on

Just read app. Double stamps all this week after noon. So possible three stamps for using own travel mug? Going for my take away after five, so will find out then. Had a sit on and got two stamps an hour ago.

Passport Office have confirmed that they have received my old one and are now checking my application. I don't want to tempt fate but its looking promising. Its only a renewal and nothing has changed other than the photo which they have already said is OK. My blood pressure is going down.

The application has been checked and its 'joined the processing queue'.
