Just looked at my Mr T receipt from yesterday - I didn't realise it was the end of the quarter which shows how much interest I take these days. How things have changed, not so long ago the end of the quarter was frantic trying to add the last few extra points onto receipts to get to our savings targets. Now I rarely give it a second thought.

Neither CC account have got enough points - both about 100 so neither will get a statement in August. Or in November at this rate.

We popped in this morning to get another set of Happy Downs and somebody - some lurker - you know who you are  - has taken the last of the Happy Downs in my store :(

Maybe Q will extend the offer expiry date.

I suspect the same person has also made off with all of the Mr T magazines - empty cardboard case today

I did though have a small bag of odds and ends for the food bank collection and we both had caramel popcorn drinks in the cafe so it wasn't a wasted trip

Yes I know the feeling, we are fortunate DS is only in London and DD is in a village 30 mins away.
We had my dear little GS stay here for 5 nights which was lovely, ds was decorating and he didn't want the boys around because of the smell of the paint ;)...... I didn't like to put my two-penneth in and tell him paint doesn't smell anymore like it use to:rotfl::rotfl:
they are now back in London, but I cant believe the perfect weather we had with them staying here over last weekend, a bit hot but with the paddling pool and the ouside/ inside space they had to play in was bliss for them :)
it seems so quiet now they aren't here:(

How lovely having them for 5 days, it is wonderful.

I would love them all to be within 10 minutes drive from us... but that will never happen. DS3 has been offered work in Texas and DS2 is considering which country do do his PHD in (he is ignoring my suggestion of England!)

    Enjoys them x

I have a friend whos son is in Australia and I can see how broken hearted they are when they have seen their grandchild and have had to leave and come back to the uk, and even facetime isn't enough :(
But the flip side is when you go to visit you are there usually more than a couple of weeks annual holiday, and get to spend quality time with the family and see local sights and customs that 'normal' holiday makers don't see...:)

No cancellation email but when I log on to my account it's cancelled.

Have you checked your account TM as some people are saying they have booked delivery and had confirmation but their account shows order as being cancelled.

Oh well had to be in it to win it...

Yes ...I checked and it's been cancelled......oh well:)

I only have one thing to say.....well done Geraint:)
