Hillbern, I know the feeling it is manic at the moment. Just cooking Sunday lunch for 5 - it is lovely to have them back, sadly DS2 leaves on Wednesday, DS1 and DIL leave on Saturday, but DS3 arrived on Friday....... I would just love to have them all sleep under the same roof one last time!

My passport panic is still in full swing - I have spent several hours today taking photos on my iPad to upload. Unfortunately I have been unable to find a single plain wall to use as backround anywhere in my house or my neighbours ! I have textured offwhite wallpaper everywhere and hanging a plain sheet on the wall doesn't work as the places where I can do that mean that the light from the windows results in a slight shadow on one side of the face. I have tried everything and have now given up for today.

I have managed to find a couple of local photographers who do passport photos - they say they do either printed or digital so I will be banging on their door first thing tomorrow.

I don't quite understand how the digital thing works though - presumably they give me something to upload into my computer, maybe a memory stick ? Does anyone know ? The online form looks straightfoward and I would prefer that method as I gather you can see how the application is progressing.

Your photographer will give you a digital photo code to enter online.

Didnt have the muller trig in my store. So just got 12 to compare to T's. Managed 10 bakewell tart ones, my favs and 2 others and other stuff to make the 8+ items

Got the youngs fish on seperate shop along with some whoopsies. Not to many as looked like a punch up was about to start so got out of there :rotfl:

Yes I know the feeling, we are fortunate DS is only in London and DD is in a village 30 mins away.
We had my dear little GS stay here for 5 nights which was lovely, ds was decorating and he didn't want the boys around because of the smell of the paint ...... I didn't like to put my two-penneth in and tell him paint doesn't smell anymore like it use to:rotfl::rotfl:
they are now back in London, but I cant believe the perfect weather we had with them staying here over last weekend, a bit hot but with the paddling pool and the ouside/ inside space they had to play in was bliss for them
it seems so quiet now they aren't here:(
