Mr TM has vinegar on just about everything:eek:
So while we were away I decided to treat myself to a new vinegar bottle to keep out on the shelf.
I used it yesterday and although I didn't look too closely, there were bits in it which I thought were that mother of vinegar stuff......you know....that stuff aau's always harping on about:rotfl:
Anyway I went to use it today and it's full of flies floating around in the vinegar_pale__pale__pale_
Wait until I tell him:rotfl:
I make a fruit fly trap for the kitchen, vinegar and a bit of fruit in a jar, topped off with a paper cone so they can't fly out. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I am sick of flies,my kitchen has had about 50 of them in it today, horrible.
We have just had a downpour of rain for all of 3 minutes, the sun is shining again.0 -
Another mystery solved.
At the weekend I was with eldest sons GF in Holland Barret as she was trying to buy zinc tablets - absolute nightmare with the different strengths, different sizes etc.
Finally she settled on these for £5.49
Holland & Barrett High Strength Chelated Zinc with Copper 60 Tablets 15mg £5.49
She didn't have a Holland Barret rewards for life card so the girl took my postcode - you don't actually need a physical plastic card, your postcode is enough.
I've just looked a the receipt and there is a £2.50 points bonus for a £5.49 spend so I looked online and that's exactly it.
So now I am now wonderinh what else has bonus points“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Definitely good stocking fillers, think they might be a bit big for crackers though, set in it's packaging is quite big, remember seeing them in DDs SD in Surrey few weeks back. I didn't bother with them then but 2 for that price I couldn't resist.
Thanks all!
