    Glad Oz is home safe.

We have had 5 minutes of rain, but not worth shouting about, sky has cleared again.

re my job the business has lost a big contract and my boss has also taught his wife to do some of the admin work and to do the vehicle hire. It was a bit unexpected and a shock but I will earn nearly an extra 2 months wages with my 12 days in London and 3 days at end of month so that will give me time to decide what to do. I only have 16 months until official retirement so would rather not take on a new contract. However I am going to get some business cards printed and advertise to do tax returns and small independent traders bookkeeping.

Good idea rose, I can say from experience that bookkeepers are a bit too thin on the ground, good idea to specialise in small businesses too.
