There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Morning all hope everyone is well.

    New job starts today :)

TM hope Oz has come home. This happened to me a couple of weeks back and I spoke to Cats Protection lady who says this weather is doing funny things to cats (ie staying outside). She also said there are more cases of them getting locked in sheds so ask your neighbors to check. Thinking of you xx

Good luck in the new job :D

Hope Oz reappears soon TM xx

Anyone else still use F for indoor temperature and C outside? I was moaning that the house was 79 degrees and the app says its only 20 outside!

  • Good morning.....Still hot and sunny here.....I think I bought the hot weather back from Spain with me....No rain for 6 weeks...The garden has given up and is dying.....Too much to try to water all the time....O well there is always next year......I couldn't stand on my patio yesterday in bare feet...It was hot enough to fry an egg on.....

Hope all is well with you all:hello:

I only know degree C. If someone gives an F number I have to google.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

I can't recall when I stopped using the Fahrenheit scale, it just happened! I do wish I could find somewhere permanently shady to put the sensors in the garden though, it's hard waking up and finding out it is 33 in the garden already  Just goes to show how strong the sun is

Inside, in spite of having doors and windows open as and when we can, the Gallileo thermometer is stuck permanently with all the weights down which means it has not been below 80F in the lounge for quite a few weeks

I just wish we could store all this heat and use it gradually in the winter.
