Despite what I may have suggested earlier, my list is up-to-date to last Wednesday
(price collection day). It's very likely that date is still on the APG as I write in the early hours but it could change later today. I think I will not have an updated list to take with me on Wednesday. Instead I will (largely) combine the two days and take what I have with me from Monday and sort it out manually offline.

Unfortunately I am, I think, not able to update the list fully before next time - but, since the items to be added will be brand new, they should still be valid for some time after yesterday. Much of what was expected to be off (indicated by expiry date 1/7 on the list) is off, it seems, but again I need to sort out what results I have got. I am sorry again to be, as usual, little immediate help on this and I'm going to get interrupted later today by the need to do another essential shop.

Just to let you know that Birds Eye Fish Fingers with Omega 3 (10 per pack - 280g) is seemingly up in price in M on Monday and will be ended almost before it began - there is now a 28 pack(:( - not quite three times as much but three times the expired price of 10) on offer in M, it seems to me, but even if that were to work, it would work out even worse than the own label 10 pack after M's price increase.

This is for those rushing to buy 6 pint milk, that now should be same price vs everywhere, with Curly Wurlys just about against M, and Sugar and Birds Eye Fish Fingers hoping to beat the update. If one of my stores is anything to go by - it's not btw - then the Curly Wurlys would continue to work against M as I have a store that has yet to change the old 4 for £1 offer SELs on the items to which that applied and still has full price SELs, not showing new mbuy, on items that are now along with those that have also joined the new offer (ex-4 for £1). However, I have many more stores that have changed.

My stores overall have also now changed to show the conclusion I reached on the alcohol bottles last time, when my SELs were all over the place and leaving me still unsure. So, I seems I worked out correctly what has actually happened and got the right prices from the indication of both sets of prices in different places in different stores, together with a little help from online including its failure to have two of the items. Moving on to something else, with another attempt to bring online to assist, I can see online the Cow & Gate/Heinz 200g 10 for £5 offer and the 3 for £3 travel minis mbuys have rolled over, although it could be best to leave them off after the update as I have some stores that have changed to full price; they are in a minority though. For me it seems usual that a complete job is not done - one of my stores has changed to full price on the Cow & Gate baby foods - has left the Heinz still showing the mbuy but has left a single version of Cow & Gate still showing the mbuy. If you are going to change the shelving, why change only part of it and leave one not done? Either change the whole lot, if the mbuy is off on all of them or, as seems the case, if the mbuy is still on, then do not change any of them at all. Instead, it seems I have someone that pulls off the offer from most (but not all) of the Cow & Gate items on the shelf, when it does not need changing, but then leaves it on one of the items seemingly at random. I also have people elsewhere that put 75p back onto the Sweet Potatoes, which have a BC that could potentially scan at that, when the product now scans at £1.20 (or maybe there are now different prices in different stores - how would I ever know?). Most of my stores have £1.20 and I have scanned it, in a "£1.20" store, at £1.20 - the same price, fwiw, as online.

I am going to leave the 10 for £2 cat food tray on the list, although it could well be off now in M, until things settle down in my stores. Most of my stores where they have the cat food trays (there are a lot more in M but I only found one of them to be comparable) seem to have done some change with the shelf but have left mbuys labels sticking out and mbuys on one shelf but not another. I bet they are really off but have still got up some indication of the mbuy and have failed to remove absolutely every indication from every level of shelving in multiple stores - yet again half a job done by the non-autist (which is probably every member of staff in those stores). I'm obviously the one that is wrong and missing something and everyone else is right. Then again, there are times when shelf prices are changed despite no change to the actual price at all. My final store (to try to decide the matter) showed no change at all. However, it then had me thinking I'd reached a store where they hadn't yet got round to changing the shelf (and the now out of date pricing in another aisle didn't fill me with confidence - although they also had what seemed to be correct pricing on something else that another store had, I think, wrong). I bet the item is no longer on mbuy?

Indeed I wished I hadn't visited one of my stores in between, as its displayed prices upset a lot of prices that, up until that point, I had thought I was settled on. However, it also had an absent SEL for Quorn Crispy Fillets (200g) which, when scanned, revealed it is now actually £1.97 (unless there is another version of the product somewhere else). Until then, I was on £1 from my earlier stores and had then checked online before this store in order to try to cut things down:wall:. Not so - £1 or absence from earlier stores and then £1 online means... it is actually £1.97. So, even if I check online, I don't know whether the price on there is correct or not (at least as to the instore price today, if there is any one such thing) - I suspect I may see the online price change soon.

Anyway, had I stopped at my previous stores, which was originally going to be the case, I would have ended up with incorrect price saying the item is still on when it is not. However, I had items in my earlier stores suggesting other items had changed that I would only find elsewhere. So, I went one of those other places, to find that the changes there were somewhat disappointing and underwhelming - not much had changed although I did get an extra offer or two but not as much as I would have liked (and then had to ignore part of what the same store said anyway as another item was showing what clearly seems to be expired offer that the previous store had changed).

Just thought now - about the Mini Cheddars and various flavours of. I have two on my list. It looks like the products overall (only some of which, and more than two, are on £1 price) are being downsized:(. Last time I found SELs saying 7 pack for the two versions I have on my list; the other SELs in my store said 6 and it turned out to be non-comparable as A, according to a.com, does not have 6 pack. However, on inspection, it turns out although the SELs say 7, the actual product there is the 6 pack. In another store today, it did turn out that those two products, for which I had 7 pack SELs, still had 7 pack stock. I also found another that said 7 pack, although it turned out to be 6 pack in this other store (and had been 6 on the SEL and 6 pack stock in the earlier store). The 7 pack SEL at the additional store (which was 6 pack SEL and 6 pack stock at the other) probably has 7 pack stock at another store somewhere. On the basis of this, I would say that M has 7 pack of every version somewhere - so it has 7 pack (and also now 6 pack:() of each across its estate, though I doubt how many stores will now have Mini Cheddars Original 7 pack. They were OOS in one of my stores and another had 6 pack SEL and 6 pack stock. So, in total, the APG stores may have 7 pack SEL and 7 pack stock somewhere but it may be on some of them a bit doubtful as to whether they will find all of the 7 packs that I believe M still has somewhere.

There are more than Applewood and Stilton as I have a further one (found with 7 pack SEL but 6 pack stock now but 7 pack stock will exist elsewhere as 7 pack existed in this store that had 6 pack stock elsewhere with same 7 pack SEL - I am sure that, if I kept going and visiting store and store and store, I would find the 7 pack stock of this but I am satisfied already that it exists enough that I don't need to try to find it). However, it appears that it is not every one of the flavours that is on £1 but only some of them (but more than the two I had before - Applewood and Stilton, that turn out to be 6 pack in the store I originally found them at, but SEL says 7 pack which is now OOS there although 7 pack of each of these does exist elsewhere that I have seen).

As for 6 pack now - avoid! It's just not right to have a 6 pack to me.

It is no longer the middle of the night as it is well into daylight again. I think "middle of the night" is currently 1am, that isn't "night" at the moment because it never goes to a black sky.

Previously, I'd have thought 3am, as that's dividing days into 12am (I know, people insist that doesn't exist) to 6am, as midnight at the end of "evening" and 6am at the start of the day - middle of that is therefore 3am or over"night". But we don't have any night at this time of year:rotfl:.

Today is O3 free Nerd coughee day, travel mug earns extra loyalty stamp.

I received an email form Patty Valerie offering one of their new Pastries for £1, printable "unique" barcode in email. So maybe worth £1 to go with free coughee. My "unique" code ends 414, is it really "unique" would be grateful if someone could confirm.
