Went to 2 homes and what a difference big top up one was modern man who showed us around was pleasant and we saw most of building. Including 3 rooms empty . Talked to staff and people in residence . Aunty Hilary explained about top up and if mum goes there I wont have to find it :j:j:j

Goes to second home the one me and AJ at put number 1 and woman asked if we had made appointment. NO . Her well we had to go back at 6pm they having tea in home it was 4pm

So we go and visit mum tell her about first home and how nice it was and modern and about having go back to other one.

Gets to mums tea time so me and Aunty Hilary go pub for a drink while mum has her tea.

Goes back after visiting and spend more time with mum then leave her to visit home again.

Gets there same woman was waiting and still offish :(

She shows us lounges old fashioned residents talked to us and some of staff they all seemed nice nicer than woman showing us around.

Gets to bedroom and  I wouldn't like stay there .

Aunty Hilary asked if they had a lift for wheelchair users answer yes . Never got shown it. Other home we went up and down in lift :)

I asked if could look at gardens answer no they overgrown and need tending to lol.

3rd home that was far away didn't go Aunty Hilary said remember you 60 and cant keep walking miles everyday visiting mum and walking work slow down

Tomorrow I am going in modern home making appointment for mum go look on Saturday and Aunty Hilary will come down from Leeds and be there :j:j:j

We setting the ball rolling .

Wont bro be :dance::dance: when mum tells him about home :D:D:D

Mum doesn't know I am going making appointment.

DS knows and he :D and glad because I am :D

I cant say I have heard the fog horn round here for years. Presume they have got rid of it.
