Good morning all, thick layer of cloud here.

Looked outside and it looks like we have some enormous moles :rotfl::rotfl:

There is an enormous pile of earth on the green area in front of our house, and all round the cul-de-sac there are fences around the holes in front of all the houses.

We are supposed to get 5 days notice of when they are going to cut off the gas, will have to wait and see about that. Have seen plenty of holes that they have dug that have been open for more than 5 days so they might manage it yet.

It's personalised foil prints. If anyone's on Instagram you can have a look :) xx

That sounds fabulous, and it is something you can continue when you start working elsewhere again, good luck xx

Well just before 7 I looked out of the window and it was all sunshine. And now we have the thick grey cloud back and the furious wind - windy days send the cats scatty ...

If the temps go into the 20s next week I will be very surprised.

Savvybuyer I feel your pain as I have similar issues here.
I keep saying to them just because it was something bought with a glitch, RTC or a cashback freebie it does not mean you can cram as much of it into your face in the fastest possible time. Just because it has not cost much or anything it has still cost time and effort to source, buy and bring home.
Far better to spread whatever it is out, relish eating something really nice and enjoy over a few days or even weeks - so then I get accused of being a bully.
And its annoying not being able to arrange things nicely in the fridge without having to hide the good stuff in a dark corner.
Its very uplifting going into the fridge and finding the fruits of your labour neatly arranged, all of the Mullers and Fages in date and type order...
Satsumas - I just don't buy them as they are too easy to peel and they would just be scoffed and probably not last more than a couple of days. I buy oranges and even then he eats 2 at a time which I don't moan about because at least its fruit and its the only fruit he eats with no prompting from me. I only buy bananas as I need them at the moment as they turn too quick so its just the odd one or 2 with each shop. Apples require work to eat so he wont unless I cut them into bite sized chunks. Odd times we get very small melons which he cuts up, I have some and the rest he will eat up himself - but at least its a melon.

8 Mullers - that has to be a world record!

The constant snacking gets very tiresome - my OH between finishing work and bedtime is munching through Jakemans sweets or treacle toffee, bowls of muesli, bowls of crispy cereal, bowls of cornflakes, entire 200g bags of peanuts and raisons ... and usually several of these in one day
With the Holland& Barrette order I got a couple of packs of 175g of ginger gems for OH as I know they are his favourite. He opened the order with me and spotted one of the ginger gems packs and went off with it. That was eaten in one sitting, all 175g of it of which 30% is sugar
What exactly is wrong with having 6 or 10 pieces and saving the rest for another day or another week.
So the other pack is hidden away for now, might have to resort to dividing it up into 3 or 6 mini bags.
Another time I got Green & Blacks salted chocolate on RTC - my absolute favourite. It comes in 8 big squares and if you suck the chocolate rather than munching it then the salt comes out, delicious. You also get the full chocolate hit so you only need a couple of squares. I give OH 2 squares and myself and the rest went back into the fridge for another time.
That's fine but later OH is back in the fridge and he comes back with the rest of the bar my chocolate - essentially it is "my chocolate" but I would always share. I say "what are you doing, we don't have to eat the entire bar all at once, its a luxury treat and you don't have to eat it all in one sitting" He says he is stressed but I say that is no excuse and then he has a full blown paddy ...

Yes I am not without sin and I realise now that I just cant have crisps in the house and I need to go cold turkey, I did manage to go a month without before so that's what I need to do again ... that is unless they come up on the cashback lists :D

I have no problem here - I know mine are disappearing faster than their dates:(. Someone else here had 8 in one day:eek: yesterday! Despite being told not to have any at all now for at least three days due to them taking three days' supply the day before:mad:. As they've now had, in a single day, their entire weekly allowance and more (should be just one per day and even that is no good as I also want the same and then it halves the number left:(). That was my penalty for visiting M and not getting back quite before the other person got back here - return to find nearly all the Mullers consumed:(:(:p! I have now attempted to ban them for over a week, as they have consumed all their allowance and more, I have had success for all of one day at the moment - but what can I do? I've now put them behind stuff in the fridge, at the back, but even this may not be a success I feel. Eight is just plain absolute greed - and that was made clear. It's no point - as usual, I can just tell people and, as usual, I will be ignored. I am not angry, upset or mad at being ignored these days as I expect it to happen, of routine, and it does.

With just a handful of Mullers now left that are supposed to cover the rest of this month and a few days into July... they were supposed to last. I am now left trying in vain to make them do so. They took the last Cherry Bakewell as well, which I even told them not to take, and so there is none of that even left for me now. Yet again I am just left powerless - there is nothing I can do, they have already opened it and consumed it.

Fighting a losing battle I feel on the yoghurts/rice - I just have to hope I am in the house when the other person is and, if I see them going to the fridge, to be able to stop them by saying "No, no, no!" - otherwise I almost know they will go. I can but hope that my moving them around in the fridge in a failure to hide what they already know is here will fail. They've just opened the fridge door as I write:eek:! I've cried out "No" three times! Fortunately they have managed to go for a Satsuma and not got the yoghurts/rice - but really I know they are not safe. Had to resort to Satsumas as not able to get more than two different apples packs earlier in the week - price of apples generally too expensive.

It makes no difference what I say - with me, if I am told I am wrong, I actually listen to people and change my behaviour but, if I tell people they're wrong, they just ignore me and continue to carry on regardless. I'm just yapping in the wind and nothing ever changes.

Now, whilst I was concerning myself with this post, they've just had the ENTIRE SATSUMAS!!:mad::mad: A pack where there were six left. They just don't stop:mad:! :(Now I'm down by one set of fruit and having to buy more:(:p. Just nothing I can do, ever. (It's not as if I can even 'fine' them (or get them to buy me some more satsumas which amounts to the same thing) - as the money just comes out the general household, in other words from me anyway. So, I'm just left with no way of making life difficult for them or any sanction and items of food just disappearing before I can have any fair share of them. I can't even complain that it's unfair, even though it is - no point complaining it's unfair: life's unfair! So it's therefore just consistent with the unfairness that life is and sadly is to be thoroughly expected with nowt you can do about it!)
