I hope people claimed immediately on Monday, as they are not showing to claim for any day now on CoS . CoS should not be allowed to remove them until the 7 days has expired, it is very bad form. If they are limited availability, or have to be bought and uploaded immediately they should say so - it should not be a gamble (like Shopm used to be!).

Here is where the impact of inflation is felt. Some of the SP-equivalent items in M, that I have been using (and buying, in retrospect not nearly enough) instead of 10p sweets, very strongly seem to have increased in price in M (judging by more than one M now showing a higher price on the SELs for the items). Rice Pudding 25p, Custard tin also 25p (but sachet apparently still 15p), Lemon Curd 35p:eek::(:(, UHT soya (both versions) 60p. Fromage Frais, where M appear to have become the cheapest of the supermarkets at 40p, now seems to have gone back to 45p:(. Dry Mixed Fruit 500g (offhand I don't think that's comparable from A) seems to have gone up from 95p to £1 (may be removing that from buy in M if somewhere like Lidl, same price it seems as M before, is now cheaper). Jar of Pickles (290g) now 34p in M and English Mustard 185g 30p (not sure if Pickles is a price increase - it seems to be but will have to see what price I've regularly had before). Fortunately, for now at least, it only seems to be some of the SP-equivalent items, not all of them - though maybe M are increasing the prices piecemeal in order to have the entire range eventually end up higher price than they have been - veg. tins, for now, for example, appear to have remained the same (although Garden Peas that went down it seemed to 20p seemed to have joined T and A back at 21p a few weeks ago).
The changes on the Rice Pudding and Custard etc. may already be in the APG or they may not. The Rice Pudding at least was still comparing against old M price on Tuesday - however I shopped very early in the day, partly in order to avoid any changes to items in my shopping that may have occurred in M without my notice as I didn't visit M on Monday. I think it's more than likely that the items have gone up in price today so may beat M price changes by buying a maximum of 10 of each item today in A (but no guarantees on that - could find new prices were on on Monday although it's probably more likely they weren't).
I have some changes to make to cover both days therefore (but obviously no idea what changed when) - several 500ml alcohol bottles have gone to £1 in M in England and undoubtedly Wales - all my prices on alcohol now do not apply to Scotland as no doubt minimum pricing will mean none of them will meet my guide prices now. So - don't buy them at all, ever:money::rotfl:. Which is probably a good thing, in a very strange way, as achieves the aim of reducing alcohol consumption. Fwiw, I am in two minds over this myself as I want to save money but also support the general policy aim behind minimum pricing for items such as this.
Anyway, enough changes to make in due course - fortunately not much was expected to have changed on Monday but it does mean I will have both Monday's and today's changes to update - that should keep me busy and, again, the odd few items over which I'll have to try to work out the prices - seems Milk Tray 360g may still be £3 but Nestle Dairy Box gone to £6, or may be both Milk Tray and Dairy Box each at £6 for all I know:rotfl: - I'm siding on Milk Tray still being £3, although two of my stores have full price, but two don't and one also has £3 price on the aisle end. However, same store also has Nature Valley bars at £1.50 SEL on the aisle end but it seems more clear they are now up to full price. So, I could have wrong SELs instore (I certainly do have wrong SELs in half the stores on Milk Tray as two at £6 and two at £3 - either the first two are wrong or the second two have to be wrong!) and will have a look at which way online is going as well to see if my stores are giving me the wrong conclusion.
I'm also thinking the McVitie's bars/slices packs are mostly still 67p apart from the two that went to £1 on my SELs last week, although I'm more in doubt this week - it could be that all of them are now £1 (I have one store that's now got £1 on them all but that had 67p on them all last time they seemed not to be 67p - everywhere else for me showing £1 - now the one store says £1, I have the other places, on most of the versions, still sticking around at 67p) - it's no good looking at online, I think - unless that's changed back to 67p - as they went to £1 on there even though all my stores last time seemed to be maintaining 67p on many of them. So, it's up in the air for me to decide. There are certainly some offer that seem to be put on but only get shown in some of my stores on the change day - other yet to change SELs and by time they would have got round to it, the offers are off again and items back to full price. So, it's just a matter of catching them before they are off again. I am removing Sweet Potatoes, added on the basis of one store at 75p last time - the version I now have scans at £1.20 even though I still have 75p showing in one place (a different one to the store last time) although that 75p today did seem to me to be doubtful and, indeed, scanned at £1.20 now. So, again, some items off almost as soon as they were added:(:rotfl:.
Nescafe Original 300g now got full price SEL for me in M - never picked up £5 offer price on the APG last weekend anyway - picked up £5.95 seemingly from 200g jar in error:(. I only know that as someone needed an emergency supply of coffee (was much cheaper buying 300g refills (they were Gold Blend and all!) on £1.50 clearance in M ages ago but longest BB date on those was January this year and we were still, just about, able to use them until last one consumed a week ago). Quite a steep price increase for me but not able to do any more than I did, especially as it was, as usual, dropped on me at short notice:(. Fortunately I targeted T so I got the comp. of £5 T - way more expensive than the M clearance though but just got in there before T's offer has ended as well - this will now be full price T barring some complete APG system failure as I've slept several times since, the price has changed on t.com and there will have been an update since my shop - now gone to £5 in S.
Astonish Mould/Mildew seems to have gone up from 89p to £1 in M (no hope there if SEL has been changed as it was buy in M). 5Kg Onions gone from £1.50 to £2.
Better items, that have it seems gone on offer to be revealed fairly soon (don't want to mention them immediately in case people get confused and buy them before the new M prices have got to the APG - so, patience may be needed and the items will be revealed later). Just the reassurance though that there are some new offer items, some of which we have had before - not everything has gone up:rotfl:!0 -

Milk Tray (360g) £3 on m.com:). However, Dairy Box also £3 on m.com, but I have £6 showing in all my four stores:(. I was thinking Milk Tray £3 and Dairy Box £6 but could be Milk Tray £6 and Dairy Box £3 for all I know:rotfl:. I will wait a day or a few to see if anything changes on m.com (will be a few days before I get round to them anyway). There's always those few items that go to full price SELs and leave me not knowing the real prices. I usually end up with what seem the correct prices on the vast majority of items (at least they match up with online or, where they don't, all my stores are showing something different and it's scanned and confirmed as being a different price to online price) but on an odd time I end up with something after my stores that seems wrong. I remember the Cow & Gate fruit pots - when I ended up at full price on those but they were still £1 (confirmed within a week, on the next occasion).
I think what may have happened on the chocolate boxes is that M has now got a new range of sweets that have been moved into the sweets and chocolate aisle and that's displaced the location of some of the regular items there, including Milk Tray and Dairy Box - those products have been physically moved in some stores, including two I've got, possibly three now I think of it, and when they move stock, initially put it showing full price. I had Milk Tray in an identical place in two stores (had been moved from the second shelf up to the bottom shelf) and saw £6 price in each - may be because it has been moved in the aisle - and then I got two stores each showing £3 so thought that was still on £3 price. It may well be still on £3 - and online hasn't changed (or hasn't changed yet so need to wait and see - this may be an indication of a change and, if it is, we'll see online change in a few days) - but, with a new range of products being brought in, and displacing other stock that now has full price SEL in some places, this could be an indication of a wider problem - and if Milk Tray (and Dairy Box) is/are £3 each, they could still well pick up £6 on the price comparisons after the next update due to this problem of full price SELs showing. There could therefore be a more general issue that may lead to a failure soon on these chocolate boxes, even if they are still £3 in M (which I don't know), or maybe it is just my stores. Just to let you know of the issue, that could run wider than my stores (and I have had situations of full price in several stores before, even though items still on offer, at least according to online, and they have then gone and picked up full price on the APG) - so, just a forewarning (will apply from the update on Thursday/Friday presumably) that there may be an issue on these two items.
Anyway, enough from my price collection today. It could be a wider issue or it could just be my stores. I did think some of the SELs in my stores this time were somewhat erratic - go to one place and the offers are completely reversed - however, apart from these couple of items at the end of four stores - generally I was settling on prices for most items - I didn't think it was much worse than usual today on this - sometimes I just end up with what may be a wrong price on one or two items.0 -
