Can anyone recommend a laptop please. This one I have is playing up and keeps turning off.

Its a minefield out there with all the different ones.

ideal for those with conditional spends. two mains and two sides, bit misleading putting in pics of beer and puds :(

So, out of the three bites you had one managed to become about the size of 50

I really do feel for you, hope fourp is looking after you (have to admit I have my doubts).

:(:(:(:( Yes that sums it up.
3 bites, one on ankle, one on forearm are fine :) But the one on back of knee is a ginormous hard rock, I'm thinking it must be a horse fly rather than a mosquito as it's well chewed :o

Fourp looking after me? :rotfl: "when are we having tea?" is his latest shout up the stairs :rotfl:

There is usually a thread running on the tech board with advice on what to buy.

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience in using their accumulated Costalot points?

After we got our free coffees last week I had a look at the sandwich fridge and there was a toastie with a red half price sticker. So after a long wait in the queue I handed over my toastie and said I wanted to pay with points (I have nearly 400 points now)
The assistant said I couldn't use them for reduced items  so it went back into the fridge.

I had a look at the terms and conditions page but I couldn't find anything about what things you can and cant buy with your points.

    https://www.costa.co.uk/terms-of-use/

I agree, there is nothing in the terms that I can see, other than a very strict interpretation of "You must have sufficient Points to pay in full for a purchase if you wish to redeem Points." and taking "in full" to mean full price. It maybe a software issue, where they scan the item then enter a code to reduce it, but they can't do that for items paid with points.

I had a bite just like that a couple of weeks ago, from garden, at the back of my left knee. couldn't bend knee or walk..
Convinced it was a horsefly. Couldn,t bend knee and horrible red/blue ring around it which kept spreading. started to take photo's of i (no easy task), in-case I needed medical attention.
Took antihistamines and zapped it with every type of cream I could find including started.and antibiotic.
Was just about to go to the walk-in centre when it began to go down, still not completely gone.

We went up to Sainsburys this afternoon - I think my store has just gone over to the type of receipts with a barcode on so they can tell what method of payment you have used.

Anyway I just had a couple of things so I used my nectar on my shop and OHs on the next few bits. My card produced a till spit spend £15 on Tu get 600 points and 800 points for a £40 shop - I'd got a few things when the sale was on so that fitted in.
OH got 40 points for Sainsburys basic cat litter and 50 for Sainsburys garlic bread - again things we have bought recently.

(As much as we moan about Sainsburys at least the till spits seem to match your spending now, unlike Mr T, where its been years since I had any mailing MOCs or tills spits ...)

I noticed the till spits said use in store and use online (except the Tu one) so I wondered how they could be used for an online shop but at the bottom it said "select this offer from your coupon wallet at sainsburys/grouceries"

So I logged onto my sainsburys grocery and there on the home page is indeed a coupon wallet which when opened needless to say were empty, no sign of the till spits for either account - maybe because we both have dormant accounts ????
I've noticed now that we got the new till spits during the week and not on Sunday or Monday so maybe our coupon wallets will update tomorrow ...

Anyway I don't know if this is a brand new thing and I've never noticed it before???? Or possibly because I've not done an online shop ...

But has anyone got anything in their sainsburys online groucey wallet or is it an empty void for everyone?

:)Can anyone advise me on postage costs please ? I have A5 envelopes with the please do not bend and card backed. Inside I'm posting a very thin piece of card. Would this just be a normal stamp please ?

If so it avoids going to post office in opening hours :D xx
