A little puzzle for anyone that is around.

Fred is twice as old as Sue was when Fred was as old as Sue is now.

    How old are they?

Dont know the answer by the way but have had this puzzle on a screwed up bit of paper for yonks. Still cant work it out, although I sometime in the dim and distant past have scribbled an answer on the bottom but dont know if its anywhere near right. Too much for my addled brain.

I think there's a little piece of the puzzle missing chocaholics - need to know either age difference or combined age to give an exact answer

Yep, I was bored again :o :rotfl:

I was hoping the weather was going to be nice so we would all be outside. Maybe I should forewarn people to bring their top coats:rotfl:

Don't want people to get caught out but this IS NOT working, I bought 6 packs whoopsied BBQ meat on Wednesday for 40p each and no £2 was taken off which was as I expected.

I think someone possibly zippy? mentioned already because it is not in a multiple multi buy offer like previous years. I.e. 2 for £7 and 3 for £10. HTHs

I would be ecstatic if I got any meat for 40p....:):):):):)

Thanks I will get a couple of packs.

I am thinking if I have extra either in the fridge/freezer just in case - you never know with numbers! x

Morning all, sorry if I have led you up the garden path, that is all I have written down and as it was a long time ago I've no idea what is missing. I will now chuck it in the bin.

Hi Hilly, As me and zippy remember it doesn't usually take the extra off if the product is only in one multibuy offer like 3 for £10 or 2 for £5. I wasn't expecting to get any extra off when I only saw the 3 for £10 labels on the packs. It must have been a one off for scamps.

Where it has worked in the past is if a product has 2 multibuy offers on it at the same time, meat in previous years both normal and BBQ have often had offer of 2 packs for £7 or 3 packs for £10 when this has coincided in the past it takes off £1 for 2 packs and £2 for 3 packs.

You usually still get the BOGOF or 342 on whoopsied items in Ts, not had a BOGOF recently but 342 on veg worked for me few weeks back.
