We had a fabulous night. Pandoraskids it was lovely to meet you and I'm so glad you met our FC.
We raised £835 on the night plus the football shirt which went for £150 and dh is owed £15 for some tickets from work which makes the total £1000.

    Great night x
    Fab total, well done.

What would have been the harm in putting it somewhere for a while before disposing of it

    Hope you get it sorted.

He's impossible:mad: I said to look online, if he'd even read the information that came with it it says it is pre paid and there is money on it.
Hubby going free, good at ironing and braaiing! (and throwing away money)

    Morning,

Is anyone a member of National Trust? If so could you let me know if it is worth joining, and if you know of the best deals. I am thinking when DS1 and DIL return to the UK, they will want to go out on every weekends....and I know we will end up paying for everything! Thanks x

Di, well done on raising the money x
I'm sure I read that if you join the New Zealand NT it is much cheaper? There again I may have been dreaming.

Good morning all, a tad grey here but meant to get better.

Not myself, but I have seen I think on here that you can join the National Trust of other countries and it is valid here but a lot cheaper. I believe the New Zealand one has been mentioned. Hopefully someone will come along and tell you more.
    I didn't dream that then... :rotfl::rotfl:

If not, just spend it online presuming you can put the bits together to read the numbers.

Good idea, thank you but he disposed of it by cutting it in 10 pieces and throwing them in the big black bin. I can't find more than two pieces.

    Good Evening :hello:

Had a lovely day not lasting me 6 hours from leaving house to getting home.

Got mums 2 hours 10 mins before appointment time :j

Transport turned up 45 mins before appointment :T

Off we go had to pick another wheelchair patient up on our travels so had a tour town centre she was going doctors with her friend

Gets to hospital and got seen nearly 40 mins late

Goes into room and 3 mins later had done.

Told mum she had had a bad break but it was healing nicely and could take 6-12months before she back to how she was before break .

Gets back to home and bro rings before I chance do anything so he having a moan about if home had said anything about mum staying there ,money ,going home etc. I said no. So he said well I suppose its down to us 2 then  Which 2 he not rang her or seen her :mad::mad:

Soon got rid of him after that.

Went into office in home and told what had happened at hospital and ask what happens next .

Got told mum needs to be walking better without 4 helpers they aiming for 1 and it will be awhile yet. So she staying there

No money mentioned and I didn't mention it .

    So will see what happens.

Sorry if you ask about mum and I don't reply but somedays I feel down and that no one cares but me . I don't mean you lot here I mean bro and home :)

Least they are happy at the hospital:T
We had to go the other week, i was trying to park for an hr:mad::mad: couldnt even park there so had to go out of hospital and park 10-15 mins away at morrisons:(
Yet we were at the private hospital which is 1/2hr drive away last week , was quicker to go there and get parked than go to local:o so glad the next 3 appointments are there.
Is your brother worried that the care home has to be paid from your mum's money? sounds like he thinks its his right to have your mum's money:(
