Mr poundstretcher said they had sold out:o

Anyone's A been having difficulties processing credit card transactions today. Both stores I visited today have been a nightmare. They were using those old clunky things where you swipe a voucher and it takes the imprint from your card

Queues were horrendous. Bit like Christmas without the excitement:o

I jokingly said " perhaps we should blame the Russians"

" No" she answered very firmly, " we've been told it's the weather"

Honestly. You couldn't make it up:rotfl:
I remember a time when you had to call to the customer service desk before going into Asda and they would use the clunky machine on your credit card and you would be walking round doing your shopping with the grey multipart slip ready to be handed over at checkout where they would write on the amount. Good times!

    Evening peeps. :)

Got to T's tonight at the perfect time.
Loads of burgers and barbecue stuff reduced.
All reduced to 50p, but also in the 3 for £10. And as the £2 off kicks in, It meant I was paid 50p to take each 3 away. :D

Had to call up a neighbour to help me get it all home!
A whole trolley full, also free JD, Vod, cider and loads of lager for the summer. :D

I must have got over 300 packs of meat!!

I have no room in my fridge or freezer so the neighbours have all been given loads. :)

I love it here as when somebody has a barbecue, everyones invited. Especially me.
    WOW well done :T:T:T:T
