    Regarding ailing and failing elderly parents and relatives, at the time when you are caring for them it is exhausting, exasperating, thankless, life draining and you think the misery will never end.
    But you can only do as much as you can within your abilities and within your capabilities.
    Later, much much later you stop being hard on yourself and look back and realise that you actually did a good job.

    I know I could have done more for my Dad but I did the best that I could. I was juggling homelife and 3 challenging teens so we muddled along and managed well enough. I know we had some good quality time in the 1st year after he went into the home but the final decline was very rapid, only about 6 weeks.

    Have managed to print 3 but keep getting error on others :(

    Same here, the two from yesterday will not go through, timed around 16.50'to 16.58, the rest worked fine.

    Glad I got a rest tomorrow and not walking far just walkies with our Poppy :)

    I must admit I didn't drink as much today because I have been just making it to loo since I been off work when walking to see mum and back even though I went loo just before I set off :o

    Been and had a lovely bubble bath feel better now.

    Just got outta bath and bro rings he off tomorrow and Wednesday I told him who was visiting and he said he will be in trouble so better go tomorrow.

    I told him transport was booked for Monday and I was told to be on my own so no disappointment ;) He asked what I meant and said no they had got it wrong ambulance couldn't take 2 wheelchairs and he had his car. Bro never admits he wrong so I will leave it there grr

    Got :coffee: and about to share a bag pom bears with :A
