We've just had a neighbour knock on our door and I've followed her out the front.

Someone has totally vandalised our garden....and drive:o

She heard a car screeching about lunchtime and rushed over to find a suspicious looking man in an Austin Allegro doing handbrake turns on the drive and skidding through the flowerbeds like a man possessed:o

If it hadn't been for him honking she would never have known about it:o

I was there last night. There was only me there the whole time they did the fruit and veg so I got a few good bits including various salad leaves, lovely juicy peaches, nectarines, carrots, raspberries, pineapple and potatoes. There was only a couple of people at the other section but there was very little there. I did not wait for the bread as have enough in the freezer. No sign of the usual pushers and shovers.

You missed a satsuma mountain on Sunday. Lovely big easy peeler ones. After everyone filled their trolleys there was still 3 full crates left. I took 10 packs into work and filled a big basket in the office. I looked very generous.

Would I dare use an APG with staff discount on?:D

Just thinking how much I'd have had with the discount on top:rotfl:

Just checked a receipt with 2 for £3 cheese.

Edam 505478176339 not showing on receipt

But no idea if anything else compares favourably

Thank you michaels :T 6 tubs of Yeo Valley Ice cream safely in the freezer. :D

Can't believe how quickly it was rewarded. I popped out before my hairdresser appointment and stashed them in the freezer. Came in and snapped the receipt, jumped in the shower to wash my hair before I went and by the time I got out it had been confirmed. :j Max 15 mins

I see its 20 yeokens per tub , are we saving for another tea towel TM? :rotfl:

Grr - made it to W at 8.15 this evening and OOS - even got them to check out back.

Well bless my soul it is. Does that mean it's the last day today though?

Yes - I am sure yesterday it said there were several days to go but it was on hukd so I guess it got hammered - perhaps it will come back for those of us who ere unable to find any stock.

For SC, I know someone with a telematics, apparently they are being penalised for 'excess acceleration' - they use the Park Street roundabout twice a day which anyone local will know would be extremely dangerous if you tried to enter without 'excess acceleration'
    I think....

You get only one P60 and it is from the employer you are working for on the 5th April, P45 are used for when you leave an employer during a tax year the information on a P45 gets transferred to your current employer file where they have to put it under income from previous employment this is shown on your P60 as in previous employment and the wage you have earned with current employer is shown as in this employment
P45 come in 3 parts Part 1A you keep Part 2 and 3 you give to your new employer one they keep and one they complete and send to HMRC but that is obsolete now as everything is done on line the P45 is issued on the last pay date so if your monthly it will be at the end of the month
You need to check your P60 to make sure his previous employments have been added if not then you will have to contact HMRC or better still
You can set him up on HMRC with his own user ID and this will tell you his employment history for the year you only need his NI number and personal details to set him up
    hth

This P60 does not look right and we are wondering about it as the hotel he worked for changed hands in December. It also has no student loan deductions which he paid in the previous job for about 2 months.
Will setting up an account on HMRC generate a tax form automatically?
We've realised tonight that he still has some wages to come from the hotel as their pay month goes from mid month to mid month and then salary paid on the last day of the month.
So he wont have a P45 form until June.
I suppose this will put him on an emergency tax code in May for the new job.
Hotel job and new job dont overlap - just the last and the first salary both will hapen at the end of May.
