DD called over and told us about a corporate event she attended. It was the usual meal and speeches and stuff. However the "entertainment" seemed to be Britain's tallest man, Britains hairiest woman, a snake woman etc etc.
You could have your photo taken with them and DD did....totally dwarfed by the 7ft 7ins Basketball player.

But I felt it was totally distasteful and reminded me of those Victorian freak shows:o

But was it? Or is it just folk getting by and making a living out of
whatever talents they have? Are they being exploited or should they be proud of who they are and tell the world about it?

Dependent on your point of view, it gets worse than that.

Is it free choice then for the individual or exploitation?

Or is it too clammy to think?:rotfl:

I think it is similar to glamour models, free choice, though some say exploitation.

Hope you all enjoyed a bit of sunshine today.
Quick update on the frozen yogs! The ones I put in the freezer just in the pot was like a brick ( banana) I microwaved for 20 seconds to get it out of the pot and stuck it in the blender with a bit of milk and some granola and blitzed it and it was lovely, like a frosty smoothy, sat outside in the sunshine and had it for breakfast.
I had the ancient ice cream maker bowl freezing since yesterday, it took ages, so tonight put 3 strawberry ones in and set it going....yay:T frozen yog in about 10 mins, all smooth and creamy. Had it with some fresh strawberries. It seemed to get bigger and I think in future 2 pots between the 3 of us would be plenty. But it worked really well apart from the thin layer at the bottom which was solid. DH asked if I had put extra cream in!
So tomorrow I will be trying another flavour! :)
So a big Thankyou for the lovely yogs:A

Thanks for posting your results. Now to find a machine x

Does this have to have the bowl frozen overnight?
