The joys of Bank Holidays ... I was just looking further into this as I am S till not sorted :o - you apparently need three DDs for the T current account to get the interest?

PPal is apparently one route some people are using and separate PO Savers.

What I need to work out is what the effective return really is on HFax/BoS etc and whether I would be better of closing them all and adding the balances to my NWide Loyalty ISA or another account.

This is now a lot of hassle for not much return :(.

I only leave a fiver in each halifacts account so the cost is in the time not lost interest elsewhere.

None of the flower codes are working for me :(
    I think....

    cruise.

why did you book your niece on, and not yourself. surely if you thought waiting was the best option. why not have waited for her as well.
Because it was her 18th birthday present, so needed to have something to give her, and at the time, it was a good price for an inside, but the balcony prices were too high. As it happens, I booked hers at the best time, as the price has never been lower than what I got (£250 more at the moment). I just emailed Bon voyage to see if they would price match viva voyage, but they dont price match.

    Afternoon all :)

Is it just me that is getting really concerned that DM's poor niece will be going on her birthday cruise alone. :o

It's one thing sending the kiddies off with their balaclavas and packed lunches on the train on their own but a cruise.

Did a Scamps yesterday, and did really well, made over £100 :D

Did wonder if anyone might spot me, as I had few things that were obviously Elite buys from days gone by. ;)

Mr TS not happy as I I still filled 2 big boxes and a small box, a crate and huge Lidl bag with stuff I brought back. :o

One lady bought nearly all my hair dyes. Well not all of them I still have 2 crates full under the bed, but the overflow carrier bag from the garage has gone. ;)

Just chatting to them now. I have a price in mind, so if he gets to that, I will just book to get it over and done with.
