:hello:
I seem currently to be identifying a series of items that are showing full price for M on msm but have gone onto lower price on m.com:rotfl:. I would not have any clue where to start on m.com itself.
I have of course seen the news about the planned merger between A and S, and have thought many things since the news became public, some of which are now under the bridge as I am coming back to posting belatedly. In any event it would take up too much of my time for me to remember and go through what I've thought in writing here. I'm already taking time away from myself by writing this now:rotfl:. I've also of course noticed the closure of RBS branches and the minimum unit pricing on alcohol in Scotland. I again have complex views on both, which are impossible to summarise and will take up too much time and space to post. I will just say "I am aware of them".
I am around therefore but been taking a break away from posting or rather had the motivational and proscrastination problem of not getting myself to do so:o. Just couldn't be bothered:rotfl::rotfl:. I wanted a rest, that's what it was!:D:idea:
There wasn't much that I could see had changed in M yesterday, hence why it's encouraged me to put off doing the M list updating until tonight:eek:. However, in those few hours, I am nearly finished (there wasn't much!) and just have some trifles to put onto the list (apparently buy in M) and lots of Heinz and Cow & Gate jars as a special project, if I can be bothered, at 10 for £5 in M. More so need to see if there is 12 for... in A, leaving potentially 10 at full vs £5 and one full price vs full price. I only bothered with "hundreds" of 200g jars (not really - exaggerated of course), couldn't see any point of 125g jars for the same mbuy price in M.
Tomorrow I can see quite a lot of items due to expire according to my list. Tomorrow was originally going to be my approximate-monthly trip around a wider selection of Ms, but I think that's going to be next week instead. In the meantime, I will manage with items online that my stores don't have although I could do eventually with seeing some of the wider ranges quite soon. I think I thought it would be better to do that after a Bank Holiday - and will probably be a very busy day next week as I am therefore missing out the Monday.0 -
Not bothering with the trifles anymore for the M list:rotfl:. I've now seen msm showing some in Lidl at cheaper than M. I've therefore reversed myself and removed the one I'd added to the list - it's now gone. Fwiw, I also have a Rhubarb & Custard and a Syrup Sponge & Custard version in M at £1 that aren't showing on msm. It doesn't look like Lidl has any the same as those, but I would go for one of the others in Lidl at cheaper price and not get tempted by these lovely-sounding items!
EDIT: There is a 12 for... mbuy on the baby food jars in A - they could do with being a lot higher than individual price 75p though:(!:rotfl:0 -

Ebay: buyer dismantles. Sell the whole kitchen as one lot with the white good excluded.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Thanks for the kitchen advice
We now have 3 kitchen sinks.
John Lewis delivered 2 new ones today but couldn't take away the cracked one as that's someone else's job:rotfl:
Can I now ask another question ....DM you are good on eBay you might be able to help.
I was about to buy a Devon Duvet mattress topper from John Lewis. They are the only retailer who stocks them. They are pricey at £190:eek:
As I have a £10 voucher to spend I thought I'd have a look on eBay and searched for Devon Duv mattress toppers. There appears to be a company selling a few " seconds" but the description says things like taken out of packaging to check or rust mark due to wet zip etc etc.
I am crap with eBay ....do they look like the real thing?
I didn't want to do a link but this is the company selling them
Any advice pleaseuploading pictures
