It was most enjoyable, but I was a bit embarrassed to find I was the only one that dressed up
Nothing to be embarrassed about, I would be proud if I were you. I bet your daughter was.
As long as you weren't in fancy dress, dressing up then yes, you should be embarrassed. :rotfl:

Good morning......still grey skies.....a bit of breeze and yet more rain forecast.......Improvements on the horizon:j:j
Confirmed this morning that Sainsbury and Asda will merge.....Initial comments are that they will continue much in the same format as now.....Hopefully that will mean no changes to APG/Nectar....I'm sure there will be the inevitable streamlining with store closures and job losses......Sainsbury's say that this merger will be good for the consumer with a 10% fall in prices.....Do we believe this.......?[STRIKE]68 [STRIKE]Mouses[/STRIKE] [/STRIKE]
OMG, I'm rich! Silver in the hair, Gold in the teeff, Crystals in the Kidney, Sugar in the blood, Lead in the butt, Iron in the arteries and an inexhaustible supply of natural gas! I never thought I would accumulate such wealth!! :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

No......
I don't think it should be allowed.
Choice will be limited, bit like the B&M merger with Heron :rotfl: only on a bigger scale.

Saints at the moment don't attract customers based on prices and I can't see that changing. Asda might go for competing on price with the discounters - let's hope apg is not a casualty of the cost sqeeze. You have to ask if it's value as a marketing tool outweighs the cost of the scheme....
In the past APG may have had value for marketing, now I am not so sure as they hardly mention it? Most customers probably don't bother/aren't aware it is still running.
Will they continue APG? If they do continue, will A match S? Would they roll it out into S too? Are the claimed 10% lower prices actually a cover in the press for APG? These are the important aspects not mentioned in their news release.
