I was even known to ring some people up who were not there on the day to say that someone had bid higher than them and see if they wanted to up their bid. :o

Thank you HILLBERN :A .....but I like your pun :rotfl:

Rain has stopped me gardening and taking in any Sun today, and I've resisted Barny Bear (so far he! he!) having my usual bowl of berries for breakfast.

Yes, looking forward to the flat season ahead - I see my namesake is running in the 4.55 Newbury today :D

    Ha ha..young rascal???

Think I have learnt how to do photos at last :)

We had one of those yesterday, really angry buzzing - as someone said probably a queen. I managed to get it outside.
Slightly worrying as one of our cats finds insects distracting - the other evening he was dancing up and down on the patio trying to swat a moth - I think he got it in the end and eat it. He has was also playing footsie with a spider he found innocently under the radiator - think he got eaten as well.

In Waitrose I checked OHs Shopimum app but oddly his app had gone onto the French version :rotfl::rotfl:

It reverted back to the UK version after he switched on and off sadly but he took screenshots - Ive put them on their twiiter feed - @ShopimumUk - it was interesting to see what they get on their lists - there was some sort of pish lager and Desperadoes :)

Annoyingly Shopimum had removed the Ella babysnacks from the list this morning - I checked yesterday and they had 4 days to run
I got the baby pouches from our small Morribobs earlier in the week but it didnt stock the baby snacks.
I dithered about going to Sainsbobs - even though its the size of an aircraft hanger it still lacks most of the cashback items.
And then we finally went to Waitrose and overnight the baby snacks were off the list - I was getting them to go into the foodbank collection in Tesco, not enough cashback items this month to have spares for the foodbank bag yet ...

So then my carefully honed shopping list was not close enough to £10 (fir coffee and newspapers) Instead I got the essentials oranges which are on offer buy 2 get 1 free - so 21 oranges for £3.40 - slightly cheaper than Sainsburys - OH and Errant son go through masses of oranges every week.

And lemon mayo - I cant find the Hellmans squeeze tube anywhere so I susoect that its no longer made and waitrose seems to be the only place that does it now, a bit dear though.

OH found some reduced essentials hot cross buns so we sat out on the benches in the sunshine drinking coffee and eating buns - bliss :)

I also found scrunched up in a womble a till spit valid until mid May for £1 off Tims greek style yogurt - no I'd not heard of it either. Its £1.95 so 95p after MOC so not a good thing to go on the next Waitrose shop.
I've also got Priness tinned peaches free MOCs to use so thats one ten pound shop planned for next time.

Florette salad is on GJ with 50p cashback - sadly our store doesnt sell it.

Coke is on offer 342 in M and S ... unfortunately two Droid vouchers don't work :(.

I tried my £5 and £3 vouchers with a yellow label reduction and some Zero ... only 1 Zero and £1.45 of a £3 voucher came off . I feel sure when I tried months ago it worked fine with the yellow labels in my store, so either something's has changed or they overroad the voucher.

So top tip ... don't delete your voucher until you have finally paid :o. It says voucher accepted when you type it in, then doesn't remove it from the total for the £3 or £5 without warning - only the Coke voucher came up as not accepted and triggered an alarm for CS after the payment screen and asks if you want it removing - not much use if you have deleted it!!). I have lost a £5 and a Coke voucher today .

And then we went to Morribobs for additional salad items - 3rd salad day in a row :j

I keep forgetting to check the Mash Direct when we go to Morribobs but today I remembered and I found 2 cauliflower cheeses packs for £1 each - good for COS.
Errant son had one with his lunch - cauliflower cheese with German salami mixed in, 2 boiled eggs, mini pork pie, the sweetie corner from a muller corner and an orange - no accounting for taste :D

    Very infuriating.

OH has all of his cokes still showing as a while back you could not delete them off so I am wondering of he has really used them all up - I suppose if we went through self scan it might be worth testing them all out ...
Apart from that I think there is just one possible £3 left which again we are not certain about ...
