I've updated my post in the light of contributions received. Thank you!

    Benefits of being 60:
    • free prescriptions and eye tests
    • Boots Advantage card extra points
    • B&Q diamond club
    • Railcard
    • If resident in London, free tube and bus travel I think
    • National Trust pensioner rate (Join the Scottish NT instead as it is cheaper, £45 pa or £72 pa for couples and they don't seem to have to live at the same address. Benefits are the same. Joining the NZ equivalent of the NT is even cheaper, gives you entrance to English Heritage properties too but does not give you free parking.)

    What have I missed?

    CALEDONIA, as about plus

    • Free bus travel throughout Scotland
    • Everyone gets a free Eye Test (surely eyesight is vital?)
    • Everyone gets free prescriptions, not making the poorer even more ill so they need expensive hospital treatment.
    • Free bottle Irn Bru.
    • Discount on kilt incontinence kits

I cannot wait for the discount in kilt kit, will make me substancial savings :rotfl:

please dont comment, as im finding this hard. ive got to take my dog ollie to the vet for the final time. in about an hr. shes been with us 17 1/2 years and we love her to bits. but seeing her unable to walk properly, i know the time has come. ive been delaying the inevitable for a while now and see she no longer has any real joy in her life. so best to say good bye.

    Just back from Pizza Express

    A tip

Screen shot your codes in case there's no reception in your local:o

Mr TM ordered Polenta chips @ £4.50 for about 6 chips and a large glass of red wine at nearly £7:eek:

He obviously doesn't understand the rules:o:rotfl:

Our server said that we will be getting a free pasta dish on the app in the next few days:)

Interesting about Iceland on watchdog. I had a grocery delivery the other day from them as using a £15 off £60 spend first time user. The frozen stuff was ok but the fresh chicken breasts smelt a bit off. The gala apples were not very crisp. Never again.

Well, been out all day, up and down stairs like a yo yo. Why do people like putting phone systems on the top floor

Also had a phone call from someone we are hoping to get a couple of conures from, should be some availability shortly, we should have a couple of additions to our family :D
