I only need two DD's for my Halifax, but struggling to think of how to do it, may have to just do without the £3pm reward.

I set up a DD from Park for love2shop vouchers - I think its £1.44 a month for a £10 voucher which will arrive later on this year. it took only a minute to set up - you do your order first and then set up the account.

I didn't even get the email - it seems to be coming later and later - last week it was just after 10 but this week I kept refreshing and refreshing and nothing arrived.

I did my order about 2 minutes after 11 - still not sure if I was too late as Asda made me re do my password - I just got white shirts for OH for work and underwear for me - not very exciting.
I used my paypal money which is mostly cashback money - sit it will be twice spent :)

I had the page open on vouchercodes for the countdown but it never showed. I then typed in George.com and I couldn't find it so went back to my email.

So I have a vouchercode email timed 11.04 for registering for the offer but my order didn't go through until 11.14

Not sure what happened but I thought order had gone through after putting payment details in and confirming but it was still in my basket. By time I went back to look in my emails and then my George account and went through the motions again I have not idea if I was quick enough. :( I did make sure I kept the original George page open hope it won't have made a difference I had to log in again on that page and check my account before doing the order again.

I did check after on a different browser and you could still click on the vouchercode reward so fingers crossed.

Good morning all! It's a lovely sunny day here :j

Wuntooo has free coffee/cake etc from today until Friday. The amount has been upped to £2.45 as well.

My O2 app seems to stop working after a little while, it's happened twice now :-(. I try stopping and starting the app but it doesn't make a difference. Last time I tried uninstalling the app but when I installed it again it asked me for my phone number which I couldn't remember. :o
Best to use the o2 priority website, register in the same way no issues with app updates.

I thought I'd moved and shuffled what I needed to before Christmas but I did another assessment yesterday and needed to do more DD moving about - things change over the course of six months.
I set up a park account to get love2shop vouchers which literally only took a minute so that plugged a gap.

Its a pity about LL dropping its interest rates. It was my next account to organise, I'd even written myself a step by step list of the stages I needed to do and set up but 1.5% interest rate for savings is not worth the effort.
It was bad enough having to concede with the ISAs when they matured. I had to accept the miserable 1.4% from Nationwide.

3 of my regular savers matured later in the later but the building societies don't have replacements for them or they have lower rate accounts - maybe things will improve.

Although its all going to be academic musings if we get our tame builder in and he does everything that is on the list that needs doing. He is supposed to be coming today for an assessment and I am supposed to have a list ready - not even started yet. He is supposed to be starting next week - he was here nearly 3 years ago doing the upstairs bathroom which turned into a nightmare job taking 3 weekends and 2 full weeks. The bill for that paid for his las Vegas trip :(
Can you keep the Lloyds account and get the cinema tix just by doing the 1500pm and abandon the 1.5% as no more dd or do you need the dd for the cinema tix too?

Does this result in a credit search? Think coop works with a single weekly dd but still need 6dds for halfax.

Day off today so of course no cos freebies. Anything worth a trip to sada at the moment?

My order is due for collection on Friday so hopefully after that it will show a date for when to expect the voucher ...

I had to email voucher codes this morning with the details of my Travelodge booking from February which didn't get to the verified stage. That was for a £5 Amazon voucher.

Hmm, well, err, no. I haven't picked up a camera since last April :( Though I did manage to put together a 2018 calendar for friends and family :)

I was like that, despite having many lingering symptoms, I just accepted my lot when you come up against "normal" all the time. Going to Uni really opened my eyes, other students were not only doing the course, but had part time jobs, boyfriends / girlfriends / family, a social life and numerous other hobbies and there was me struggling to keep up with the course. Clearly something wasn't right.

The reason for the private Endo was to get t3 prescribed, I like to do things by the book. Long story short, after a trial he said I didn't need it and symptoms where not due to hypothyroidism or its management  Such a final and bold statement to make! I knew he was wrong so had a gene test (DI02) turns out I inherited two faulty genes, one
from each parent so I have reduced conversion of t4 to t3. Gave him this info and he replies there is chance I wasn't given enough t3! !!!!!!, don't make such final statements to my GP without testing out an increase in dose first. Patients are made to jump through hoops and it shouldn't be like that. You can buy t3 from Mexico  (Which is legal in the uk, we have a special clause in the 1968 medicines act, which allows us to import medication strictly for our own use.)

Looks like i'll be going it alone, as he hasn't wrote to my GP about the gene test results. I'm switching to NDT just waiting for the right time, figure if i'm going to end up paying for t3 then NDT works out cheaper and get all the benefits of T4, T3, T2, T1 plus calcitonin.

Westie, I’m sorry to hear this, but it’s a disgrace in my mind that you’ve been treated this way. As for having to go it alone, that is so wrong. It infuriates me when genuine folk are in need of medication there can be a struggle to get it. Yet it’s well known that some malingerers go to their doctor claiming symptoms of stress, anxiety or depression and are given medication without a second thought.

    So so wrong

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Thanks! I've just ordered another sim so I'll try the website next time. I just checked the website and it needs an O2 phone number which of course I can't remember.....

I image that it does but possibly just a soft credit search - it was very quick so I don't think it would leave a mark.

There are freebies on Shopimum if you haven't checked recently.
Also free ginger and whisky tin on Q clicksnappy - the same one that was on COS but with a longer expiry date 20/04

Sorry, yes you have to register with an o2 sim same way but the advantage is you don't lose registration when the app updates - and don't have to have space for the app on a small memory/unsupported phone.
    I think....

    Good afternoon Elite :hello:

What a glorious day. I dare not say anything else, just incase.

Hardly slept last night, but heard the birds burst into song and I just knew today was going to be a good one. I’ve almost finished clearing out one of the drawers in my bed. Most are going to charity shop as not worn in a couple of years.

Think I’ll take my coffee out into the garden, because I can :rotfl: who knows what next week will bring.

Hugs to the Elite poorly and those feeling low in body and mind. You’re always in my thoughts xx
