Now the TCB site seems to have packed in for me too. I use the app for my cashback and that's fine but go through website for Mr TM which saves logging in and out.
It's been iffy for a little while but I'm not getting anywhere with it at all today:o

Thank you, Dave. I spent yesterday tidying and cleaning my 'potting shed' (turned the end of a too-long garage into something like a galley kitchen with deep sink) and hope to get weeding the garden and planting this week. I've been reading up on Pinterest and some people say the simplest way of planting tomatoes is to plant a slice with seeds in it. Do you think that would work please? I've also seen 2l plastic bottles turned into self-watering mini greenhouses and am dying to try it! But thank you for, in effect, telling me that now is the time to plant tomato seeds!
I was a little late this year, but they will soo catch up, and saves them going all leggy with the carp weather we have had.
I have never tried just planting a slice, but in theaory, so long as there is a seed in there, it should work. You might not get what you expect though if it is a hybrid tomato. For the sake of getting a pack of tom seeds, it could be money well spent.
Edit: Just read that the gel sacks around the seeds could inhibit germination. You may possibly have better success if you remove the sacks by washing the seeds first.
