    anyway what did I say about favourites winning at fakenham...we didn't go but dh bet on 1 of the favourites...probably the only one that lost:rotfl::rotfl:

    First single bought for me by elderly next door neighbour that I had told I had been given a record player for my birthday. :o

    Unfortunately it wasn't a real one only battery operated toy one with bright orange records that played things like "Jimmy crack corn and I don't care". Didn't stop me playing Englebert though he did sound a bit odd. :rotfl:

    There are a few "quirky" courses I don't bet at - and Fakenham is one of them. It even confuses the jockeys it seems - did you see the 4.00 pm race on Saturday when the poor jockey rode his horse to finish a circuit too early?
    He got a 14 day ban for that :o
