    Hope so.
It was on the radio the other day about employers being short staffed, going through job applications then getting people in to do trial shifts to get the work load down. Then saying they weren't suitable for the job. :(

    Evening peeps.

I have had people come in for work trials but a maximum of a week They were on benefits and had pervious issues which made it difficult an employer to judge Only a few made it to work for the week and they usually offered a temp contract

But it is so wrong to exploit someone genuinely looking for work

McD's after passing all sorts of stuff from application, telephone interview, face to face, were then offered a work trial. and that was genuine as the time taken to oversee a new person really outweighed the experience.

Got a womble today which includes a Fairy product that should give me £2 cashback at Suppersavvyme. The website now allows receipt uploads as an alternative to printing mocs (both options available). Worth remembering to check their offers re wombles!:)

    Ta for this.

I had a look and the bit that worries me

"In order to receive the cashback the user must save the coupon on their mobile before purchasing the product"
You need the app on your phone and to register your paypal account otherwise it looks straightforward.
There are about 15 things listed and some look very normal every day things like lenor and fairy washing up liquid so a good excuse to scrutinise the wombles - Mr T ones are the worst though I think as often it just says vague description

Users will only be offered one coupon per brand across a 12 month period.
£5 (UK)/ €5(Ireland) is the minimum amount that can be paid as cashback.

Good morning all, clouds scudding along rapidly here, sun keeps peeping out though and dazzling me :D

One load of washing out and one in the machine :D

I don't like the look of that, most of our points come from petrol and they do not say what they will do about that - have a funny feeling that will cease. Looks like another loyalty scheme will be biting the dust as far as we are concerned if they continue with that.

well its day four and I am still tackling holiday laundry backlog but today has to be the final day.

I got a message from Eldest child yesterday, there was a frantic round of bed changing last night because she is coming to stay for the night :j
We last saw her early February at the birthday party weekend but she hasnt been home since the big Christmas bash :)
She quite often works up at Sheffield now midweek so she is sloting us in between 2 Sheffield days.
I think she must just be fed up of hotel stays.
(yes its not totally logical - 2 trains to get here and back from Sheffield about 2 hours allowing for waiting time in Manchester but if she just wanted to see us its just one Virgin train about 90 mins from Euston ...)

Anyway great excitement - just have to try and clearing washing away and try and straighten up ...:D

I bet that will be me in May. DD and her fianc! came to stay just after Christmas and I haven't changed the bed since, tend to leave it made up just in case, they are back in May and I really must wash it before that, but I need it made up just in case ..........

Finally get a bike ride today, not had chance what with the weather and various work episodes, really need to get out on my bike or I shall go mad (OK, less of the comments ).

    :)

I can thoroughly recommend the Huawei Enterprise :D Battery life is brilliant & charges really quickly. You need a micro SIM (I got one in days from Virgin)
The ease of just tapping an icon to put the WiFi on & a different icon if you might use you own allowance :D
The camera is better than mine own. Really sharp photos.
:o and I can do that talking face to face thingy too :D

Oh, gotta ring Drs for Fourp it's after 8.30am..
