DDs not required for T/NWIDE/HSBC/NW/TSB. Have you not got M&S, which you do need DDs for ?

Thank you. Yes I missed those off my list :o. HSBC I believe you need the DD to qualify for the regular saver.

Important thing is, is she safe and welll? If so, nothing else matters. Metal can be fixed, sometimes people can!!!8217;t.

Sort of though it was a low speed lazinesses/carelessness thing not an accident in danger of injury thing. How can you do all 4 panels and so hard? Surely you notice you are hitting something and steer away....It is almost certainly my fault because I was saying yesterday we had done so well with that car, paid not a lot, no maintenance and it had done us proud for 20 months.
    I think....

Ll0yds is on my list ;).

C00p we had and switched out after having the bonuses :D

From the suggestions so far it looks like I need a few less DD ...but still a challenge replacing them.

Sorry to hear about the accident but the fact your DW is unhurt is the important bit.

My ds managed to reverse the length of his sisters car and she said the same, why not stop when you heard the scrapping noise:rotfl:, mind he actually managed to do this twice to her car, the second time I turned her car around so she didn't see it when she got home and told her and my dh at the same time, one stressful moment instead of two :rotfl:

I'm sure I love my DW very much but this afternoon she decided to mash both doors and the front and rear wings of our car on a metal post that apparently jumped out into the road....it is no doubt a write off, I was hoping we could buy it back, replace the wing mirror and carry on using but she has really gone to town. both doors are badly bent not just scratched/dented so there is no economic route to keep it on the road. Value if we are lucky 1500, excess 400, value as scrap possibly 200-400 - I wonder if it is worth an insurance claim or just sell for parts on ebay and avoid the premium increases.

Oh dear re car but glad DW is ok.

Elaine, those whoopsies are well deserved after all the work you put into the hugely appreciated wine list. So pleased for you.

Good night everyone and happy Easter.

I know it is just slightly galling that I spend hours scrabbling around to save pennies and someone else can set us back £1k in moments just out of carelessness. I knew DW was tired this AM and suggested sleeping in an hour would make her day better not worse but as usual she didn't listen and the result speaks for itself.

Any updates on the best way to manage the loss of Tesco bank DDs? I think most need to be from different organisations so a DD from mine and DWs Yorkshire Building Society accounts would not meet the two DDs criteria in most cases?

Edit - looks like Hfax and Ll0yds need different banks for the DDs but coopbank doesn't, only one Sant left which has the DDs for cashback purposes so no problem there and hsbc don't need them to qualify for reg saver. SO I only need to find 8 more DDs....
    I think....
