Had a lovely afternoon/evening with 87 year old MIL, DIL and 3 other family members-Had a good laugh, I certainly need that, but lost at cards
the wine was flowing freely but no fizzy was drunk.
we had a very reasonable priced meal
5kg gammon joint (I got rtc from a in London just after new year) I paid £2 cooked it in cider the free ones from one stop via cos we had a while ago
glazed it with an rtc marmalade for 10p
veg by the plenty which are cheap at the momet or rtc from last week..i also cooked parsnips and carrots honey glazed with coriander (whole earth honey blend from last week free via cos, and coriander free from last year again via cos
the profiteroles are 1/2 price in T at the mo but I got mine rtc and froze them,
I made eton mess using raspberries not strawberries rtc 10p a punnet, crushed rtc meringue 25p and rtc elmlea cream 22p a carton and managed to get 55p back on cos ...the cream has junes date on it
I had plenty of Jacobs and brie and rtc grapes but everyone full up...
MIL then took a huge piece of gammon home with them and we have enough for 4 of us today.
so I was pleased with my efforts
I love to read all of this I also love mentally calculating the cost of a whoopsied dinner
Our reductions are weird atm was in asda light night at 8 pm and still only pennies off the stuff Got DS potatoes rtc to 5p in morries He will use then today only as they will be be well past their sell by date on Sunday :eek:0 -

Still, I always lose a bit of weight when the good weather arrives, a combination of more cycling/walking and a more healthy diet.
That's what I'm hoping too:TTo do is to be. Rousseau

Trivento Reserve Malbec did not work for me yesterday. Although it compared to m @ £15, the 342 didn't work. Makes it £4.50 a bottle, not a bargain, in my book.
Please see receipt below.
SA wrote 'L' by the side when I queried it and explained that any linked offer (3 f £10 or 342 etc) always had an 'L' after the barcode.
Quorn didn't compare to £1 @ m either.
Please can ChelseaFred post his receipt so that we can compare times. I am in England.
