Filled up at the pay at kiosk pump as there was no queue. Wondering why there was a queue at the pay at pump.
I mentioned this to the lady at the kiosk and she said thatas long as people had £1 in their bank account, they could fill their car, so peeps used it to get fuel before payday.

I do NOT condone this. Just an observation. Of course there would be bank charges if bought more than a couple of days before payday. As debits show on available balance but don't normally come off officially for a couple of days. I suppose it is better than a payday loan. BUT if peeps use this more than once, they should SERIOUSLY look deeper into their finance.

As I said, i do not make any recommendations, just stating what I was told.
I think :money: may have even mentioned this before.

Its always uncertain if comparisons to Morrisons will work. But you can try it. It it fails you will probably get the comparison to Sainsbury's as a fall back. Nothing is never certain until tested.

edited wold be £16.20 after apg against sains
or £13.50 if morry price picks up.
quite a large but genuine apg though.

I have my doubts about whether this will pick up M price at what seems to me to be this late stage. Although it is continually on my list, on the basis that "it must still be somewhere", despite being absent from all stores I have visited in probably the last two and a half months, I think the price collection stores are unlikely to have it (but this is on the basis of none of my wider range of stores having it recently, having finally vanished from my last one some time ago). This was an item that appeared on Black Friday and it appeared online only several months later - interesting after it had gone from all of my stores. It was then mentioned on hotukdeals, presumably from having been found online, but at what seemed to me this belated stage when it had been around since Black Friday and continually at £15 for many weeks, though had by this stage already been and gone in my stores, after becoming available at fewer of them, until eventually left at just one and then has been no trace there ever since. There was a random rare appearance at one other store for me afterwards - but nowhere near as consistent as before, with very little stock and not seen since. That was the last time I had any trace of the product instore in M, months ago. I doubt the PG will have it - I think it's likely to have gone several months ago from many stores.

Whilst stores may replenish stock, and it must still be available at some M given that it is still online, I think the chances of price collection stores (as with any stores) having it must be slim. If everyone wants to go to their nearest M (hopefully different from everyone else) and report whether they have the product, maybe that will give an idea as to how rare (I think!) it now is. I don't think it is going to be found by many people now. Whilst this is not an RTC item - it is a Black Friday item, still on same price (according to online) that it came in on, "when it's gone it's gone" (or, as I sometimes think, "when it's gone... it'll be at another store!" although on this one, none of my Ms (and I have occasionally been going to new places) have it) - it'll be like one of the RTC items that goes from most places, but items of stock eventually just get put on ordinary shelves of a store with a normal price label giving the same RTC price as it's ever been but not mentioning any RTC and it just stays there, rarely being sold for over a year. I reckon that's what's happened on one of the items in one of my stores - still there, on the RTC price (although it did go up for a couple of weeks and then back down, which caused it to lose its SEL) and it is now still remaining in the one store nearly two years later from when I first found it.

As an idea on the Oral B refills, I did have a similar item - a different pack of other brand refills - that was initially found in many places and eventually became just one or two, then stopped on at one for a while until it eventually vanished. At this stage, I kept it on for a few months - as I was now aware things would 'always' be elsewhere even if they had gone from all of my stores - but after no trace for a while I deleted it, expecting it to have surely gone by now. This was still in my learning stage however where, despite months of no trace, I was still taking things off the list when M still had them. I did eventually find this other pack of refills again but, at that stage, although M still had it in stock at same price as before, in one store I found, it was now just in one store out of over 70 I had visited.

Online does suggest M still has it - and I have no doubt that is true. Someone somewhere will walk into their M and have it on the shelf at £15. However, at this stage, I think that is going to be pretty rare stock, still left in not many places nationwide months after Black Friday. It won't be likely to be the same store as my other refills a year ago:rotfl:. It will be a random place, that has never shifted all their stock and still has it now.

As regards it being 'always uncertain' whether things will work vs M, most regular things will work against M. As an earlier comparison on 2L Coke has shown today, it's those dodgy comps. against T that fail:rotfl::mad:. However, it's just on a particular item, like these refills, that, because of the situation in M (namely a Black Friday item that is unlikely to be in many stores now), it seems unlikely to work. In fact, I did have a note on my list saying this was now (two months ago) unlikely, although I removed that after the product later appeared online (after it had gone for me!). Other items that, it seems to me, are now unlikely - I think I did try to post something a couple of weeks ago but lost my post - are the Rubicon Guava (seems to have gone from places I've visited a couple of weeks ago) and the older L'Oreal clearance items, that have been there for several weeks rather than those just added in the last two weeks, are, about now, disappeared from my stores. There's others too - I now separate RTC items out - but, then again, I keep coming across some of them still quite regularly in some stores.

I may be about to lose the Vimto V20 (Tvs M) next week - although not an RTC, but regular £1 "offer", I lost it from one store a month and a half ago, the only place where I had it, but it then moved to another store for me. The other store has been the only place I have had it since - today, it is now "temporarily OOS" (I hope so) there - if it does not come back in stock, I risk losing the SEL and having no item at all, and it's not on m.com, so I may be unable to track it in future weeks!

Speaking of Vimto, the 2L cordials look to be off and I think I am going to find, when I have to check online, that the Vimto Remix 2L is also off in M now. In fact, there's a story about this one - I originally only had it online and didn't have it in my stores for several weeks. However, a couple of weeks ago - it was a case of "Well, what a brief appearance that was!":rotfl::rotfl: I happened to have it, on one Monday, in one of my stores only. However, two days later, it had vanished from the same store (total absence, no stock, not even a SEL) and was now nowhere else for me either. I haven't seen in the stores I've visited ever since - so, I am going to have to check online for it again. I did find it instore on one occasion when it graced me with an appearance, for a few seconds:rotfl:.
