Just to update ... although my V M services have disconnected, the Tivo still works. Or rather, it lets you see five terrestrial channels plus radio - with a "Sorry there seems to be a problem" message floating in front of the programme moving around the screen slowly. Some of the recordings will also still play too (not all - Sky 1 don't).
I just need to get some form of TV service - we have NowTV passes from various promos so can survive.
Looking at the cancellation information it seems there may be a charge of either £60 or £160 if I cancel BeeTee after line install but within14 days (though the line was already to the house and used previously, so assume it maybe the lower charge ... but then he did move a socket?). We may have to stay anyway if no deals appear!
Little Anons have said the WiFi is stronger around the house compared to V M, and no issues with gaming despite V M being double this speed. It has dropped out a couple of times though.

Do you have a satellite dish? If so you could get a freesat box, a lot of them have catchup on them now. To be honest, we used to have Sky1 and SyFy etc on ours but VM decided to downgrade the package without telling us last time there was a price rise, tried to blame it on us trying to get it cheaper etc but had to admit it in the end, they probably expected us to go scurrying to them and beg to pay extra to get the channels back but we really don't miss them. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
