We've been doing some stuff today to keep the house warmer next winter.

Just basic things like draught proofing the letter box and loft hatch.

I've also finally got round to addressing the front door. We have a door with side windows at each side and boy could we feel the beast from the east when the wind was blowing. It really kept the temperature down.

So we are putting up some curtains. The first pair of curtains we have in the house.
I got these today in A. New stock has arrived and some of the old stuff is down to half price. Worth a look if you are needing some. These are 90 x. 90, 100% cotton and fully lined and are the EXACT colour I need:T:T

They cost £17.99 but we have a curtain pole to buy.

I have some thermal linings from a previous life which I'm going to attach to them.
So next winter we should be cosier:)

Actually just checked MOC and it is for £1 off any quilted cushelle, 4 rolls, 9 rolls or 16 rolls. Not specific to Asda and valid until 5/4/18. This was at W@shington. the 4 roll is £2 at both A & T so only 80p for 4 on APG shop. I must go back & print some more :)

    Brilliant:T:eek:

I'll look out for them. Thank you:)

My woopsies tonight consisted of 10 x 10p Loaves of toast bread - taking to work as have an empty freezer there & will keep my department in toast for breakfast for a couple of months. Also taking but I also got them cake slices and fruit pies.
2 melons - 10p each, 3 bags of 5p salad, bag 5p rocket, 2 packs peppers for 5p each, some pain au chocolates which were my most expensive purchase at 29p. No nice berries for me tonight. Love checking my savings against full price. £22 down to £2.30 which is good for me. Cost 43p cash after a womble.

Mine cost 62p after 2 wombles.

I could giggle now thinking about us two comparing wombles in the middle of A:rotfl::rotfl:

We had them folded exactly the same way in ascending order:rotfl:

Called in just now at a Co-op which I don't often pass, so I thought I would, just to see.

Italian spaghetti down to 18p from £1, so I got a load for the foodbank as it is dated 2020. It weighs very heavily, so it will go into T's collection box tomorrow.

    Got 50p off a £4 spend till-spit.

I have tried our local coop as you seem to do quite well but not found anything interesting yet. It may take practice and that's ok as its only a few minutes from home
