Wouldn’t you think that A would have learnt from the 342 toiletries pre Christmas:rotfl:

    Obviously the penny didn’t drop:rotfl:

Also I've had a successful Boots shop this morning using the app offers and paper vouchers.

I got the Boots smile toothpaste for 75p for 75 points on my app. I also had another offer which said buy 2 Boots toiletries and get 75 points so as I thought toothpaste could be classed as toiletries I would get 2 and this seems to have worked so 150 points for a £1.50 spend.

Also I got the 16s of paracetomol for 49p to get the app 50 points

Looking through the paper vouchers that came in the post from the baby club I had one that said buy 3 baby cleaners, baby bath etc and get £2 off expiring at the end of March. I've never got these offers to work via the app so I thought I might have more success in store with a paper coupon.
I got 2 packs of Huggies wipes for £1.50, essential cotton wool pads for £1.15 and essential cotton buds for 40p - so a total of £3.05 - I had also got a 50p off huggies so in theory that would have brought my total down to £2.55.

    and the free magazine

So with all this on the counter it looked like a normal shop - 2 toothpaste, 2 Huggies wipes, cotton wool buds and pads and magazine and pain killers.
Needless to say the £2 off when you buy 3 baby toiletries didn't work so a supervisor was called. She said that I needed to buy 3 baby items and I said I had 4 in total. Plus they had not idea what was and what wasn't included.
Then she figured the only way to do things was to clear everything and start again but put the Huggies through as zero which she did - so I could not use my Huggies 50p but that is valid until the end of the month and can be used on another shopping expedition.

So my final total was £3.54 - yes I know we are not supposed to be buying toiletries but toothpaste we are very short of, none left in the stockpile plus the pain killers and cotton wool pads are all useful bits.
The wipes and cotton buds will go into the food bank collection - so some items for me and some for sharing.

My points total has gone up by £2.64 (including various points for baby club and a receipt I had added on) so in real money I've spent 90p

I was also given a till spit, spend £4 get 200 points valid until mid March so I might do another three or more baby toiletry shop including more Huggies and see what happens but it would be useful if one of the COS items was on cashback as well .. .

I’ve only just downloaded the app and have 75 points when I buy any shampoo. I also have 100 points when I buy 2 shampoos on a paper coupon. I bought 2 x 75p shampoos but only the 100 points showed on my receipt. Are the app ones added later mhoc do you know?
