Well done £20 not to be sniffed at. :money: I got £50 off doing that the other year. So I should try again really see how I feel. Trouble is it's never really a quick call is it even when they have all your details they have to go over them all again.

I do all that sort of thing in our house the ringing and arranging, god help Mr TS if he ever has to he won't have a clue.

I did get OH tonight to go through both car paperwork and straighten them up. When the MOTs, servincing and repairs are done, all over the same 6 to 8 weeks the invoices get misfiled and go into the wrong folder. He instantly knows what has been done to what car so its quicker if he untangles them.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Mr Pip will be exactly the same, I'm trying to put together a file, a real paper file, so he knows what's what!0 -
I would imagine it is about those deliberately targeting DTD and/or "buying" "ill fitting" items with the sole intention of returning them to gain a financial advantage.
some may not see it as criminal but it could be seen as fraudulently obtaining goods by deception.
Evening locarr,
You can’t say that. We don’t know the facts. More like someone up to mischief again. Someone who would like the thread closed down:o
I think you will have upset a lot of people with your comments:o
We could say the same about a lot of the stuff we do. Did you exploit PYO? Did you get Adnams beer?
Have a go at me if you want.
I used 6 yoghurt coupons in one transaction last week.
I think you have made it very clear about the way you feel but every time you say it we lose posters....one of whom will now never return to the thread:o That makes me very sad:oTo do is to be. Rousseau
To be is to do. Sartre
Do be do be do. Sinatra0 -

Mr TS would never go through paperwork.
I'm usually pretty good keeping it together even if not filed but had let it slip especially with getting rid of his car and getting his dad's van. I had several piles in places where they should not have been a bit like my ironing at the moment. Worries are wearing me down and I'm not functioning well. But I did force myself to tidy it all away end of last week.0 -
Oh mhoc, I'm sure he has slept in worse places than that, close the door and let him get on with it!
He has slept in worse places - I suspect that out in HK they were sleeping on beaches (and possibly putting themselves in danger) - I know that his brother paid for a hotel room for him.
He reguarly sleeps in the van eg when he is off for a few days biking or walking. Also if he is working both a late shift and then an early morning shift he sleeps in the van - even though its only 3 miles from home. I have never set foot in the van. I can imagine how it smells inside though as the house was less than fragrant when he was left incharge the other weekend.
I just round up the shoes, bags, jackets and other flotsam and jetsam and dump it in his room for him to sort it out.
May 2017 I did make an effort to sort it out but never again.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

I always tidy son's room every day.
Last week it was dreadful so I decided to leave it.
He came home and was disgusted that his room hadn't been serviced!
He thinks I'm the maid and he lives in a hotel!
Evening peeps.curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!0 -

Evening peeps.
:rotfl:
My kids used to get annoyed when I tidied their room as they then claimed not to be able to find anything.
DS2 -GF is so tidy and clean that DS2 lives in fear of being sent home if he doesnt shape up. :rotfl:I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
